-Kaane too stepped forward, and announced, "My greatest strength... physically, the skills passed down to me, those inherited and improved every generation. Though, I feel that this would not be my proper strength, for that lies in the honor and pride I have that comes with it, I would never flee from a fight, if it an honorable one. I would do, to the best of my abilities, no injustice." Kaane thought a bit for the next part, "My greatest weakness... would have to be my ineptitude towards magic, my speed in battle is slow but enough for me. And what I admire, that is the easy question. I admire integrity of people, equality and fairness."

-"My greatest strength...well, in truth it is my people, and my family. The fire of Castillunia burns bright in me, and it is that belonging to my nation that is my strength, my motivation to keep going when I am at my lowest ebb." -"My greatest weakness...well..." Caterina pondered for a moment, then deciding to be truthful, "my greatest weakness in my eyes is my lack of magic. My brother is a great spellsword. Both in battle, offense and defense...and out of it. I have a gift with animals, but I dream of speaking with them, and flying with them, dancing in their forms. Having the elements on the tips of my fingers...and healing! I would love to be one with what my brother and the scholars call wild magic." She tailed off, and then realised she had indulged in something of a rant, and in front of such venerable druids! Embarrassed, she looked into Tallum's face. "Forgive me, sir. This is an old topic of brooding for me." -"What I admire most in others?" She considered the people she admired most in the world. Her mother, her brother, Syrio... "Dedication."

-Alatar thought hard about how to answer the Chief Druid's questions. "I would have to say that my greatest strength is my mind. The ability to think clearly, without emotion clouding judgement. The ability to wield magic as a tool for both healing and destruction. My greatest weakness would have to be my use of magic. I'm not very creative when it comes to using spells, and I mostly rely on basic techniques. What I admire most in others is wisdom. That they know the information and know exactly when to use it, or when not to use it. That they know when some information should be held back and when the right time is to reveal the rest."

-Nathan held his head up to answer the man, "My greatest strength is... well... my strength!" Nathan said with a laugh, "My greatest weakness would be that I am not an agile person, but I make up for it with my durability, and as far as what I admire most in a person," Nathan stopped as fire ignited in his eyes and he pumped his arm, "HONOR!"

Captain Marcel paused for a minute, unsure of what to say. "My...my greatest strength is my love for my homeland of Bana." He bit his lip and sighed. "My greatest weakness is my headstrong attitude." He looked around the members of his group. "The thing I admire most is the patience to overlook the faults in others."
The druid breathed deeply, almost as if he was breathing in their answers. "So be it!" he said in that deep, booming voice, yet somehow quietly. He slowly raised his head up to the sky, extending his arms out as he seemed to absorb the natural energy around him. He exhaled deeply as his head lowered, eying the group standing in front of him.
"Paladin Eliana," Tallum said in his booming voice. "Your armor..." he said as he stared Eliana in her eyes. The druids behind Tallum began to chant more quickly and louder than they had before. The very stones around them appeared to lean in toward the druids. A swirl of air surrounded Tallum. He exhaled and pushed his arms forward. The air continued to swirl around in circles, slowly toward Eliana. It surrounded her, picking up speed. As it continued to spin, surrounding Eliana, the air inside began to get colder, until Eliana's breath could be seen. Eliana's armor began to make a few cracking noises as it seemed to be getting thicker. Suddenly, the armor changed, darkening in color slightly, getting nearly twice as thick, though weighing the same as it always had. Tallum finally finished, "...is done."
"Kaane Ten'oio," Tallum said as he turned his attention to the Elf. "Magic..." he said as he lifted up his arms. The air around him began to get colder and colder. Tallum extended his right hand. His hand rapidly extended and a ball of ice appeared a few inches above his hand. He turned his hand inward, cupping his hand as if he could control the ball of ice. He then pushed his hand out, shooting the ball of ice directly into Kaane's chest. The ball of ice disappeared as it landed on Kaane's armor. The ice coursed through Kaane's veins, filling him with power. "...to slow is yours."
"Caterina di Cabaliero," Tallum said, turning his attention to the former Queen's Falcon. "Nature..." Tallum lifted his arms and the circle began to fill with the sounds of all the woodland animals, calling all at once. The sounds filled Caterina's ears until it was all she could hear, almost deafening her. All at once, the sound stopped and all was silent. Tallum stared her in the eyes. "...is at your command."
"Alatar." Tallum smirked as he turned to the Elf. "Combinations..." he said as he extended his hands. Four orbs appeared over his hands. There was an orb of fire, an orb of ice, an orb of lightning, and an orb of earth. The ice and earth orbs joined together, flying at Alatar. The fire and lightning orbs joined together, flying immediately after the first orb. The orbs seemed to fuse into Alatar's armor, filling him with the secrets of their power. "...are limited only to your imagination."
"Nathaniel Wrathgar," Tallum said turning toward the Inderlonian. "Armor..." he said as he raised his arms up. The stones within the circle seemed to lean in again as the druids increased the volume of their chanting. Tallum lowered his arms, only to bring them back up again quickly, causing a circle of stone to rise around Nathan. Shapes slowly began to form in the stone. Tallum clapped his hands together and the shapes shot out of the stone, clasping close to Nathan's skin as the armor began to form around him. The armor was light, but strong, providing protection while allowing for agile maneuvers. "...is yours."
"Captain Marcel," Tallum said as he turned to man from Bana. "Wisdom..." Tallum said as he closed his eyes and raised his hands to his head. Marcel began to swoon as he put his hand on his head. Tallum opened his eyes quickly, glaring as Marcel. Marcel's head snapped back. Marcel's head slowly came back forward. "...is yours."
Tallum's voice returned back to normal as the druids quieted down and ceased their chanting. The druids bowed to the group and began to walk off. Tallum bowed to the adventurers. "I hope this small sacrifice will aid you in your quest. It is what little we can do to help."

-Eliana turned around watching the ceremony take place around her, almost feeling on guard from the display of magic, then watched as her armor thickened around her, the deep blues and silvers that went into her normal Paladin gear were morphed just so, darkened by whatever magic the man had cast, and made that much more powerful. Eliana looked down as the casting was complete, jumping up and down for a moment, watching how the armor did not constrict her movements nearly as much, yet felt so much more resistant. Admiringly, she ran her hand down the side of the new outfit, before she finally looked up and smiled "Now that's what I'm talking about!" She grinned nice and wide before turning to Tallum and giving a small bow. "Thank you kind sir, I am sure every ounce of help you have offered will help us in the future." She smiled to him, straightening her new gear happily, before looking to the others awaiting what they may say to this.

-Caterina listened, and for the first time, she heard. The songs of the birds outside were clear and sharp in her ears. She had always know that the songs of birds, the songs of wolves, the songs of horses all had meaning, all had wisdom. Yet it was here, in the far north at the behest of these mysterious druids that she began to percieve the meaning in the words of the world, spoken and silent. She felt as if a door within her had been unlocked, that an ancient horn had blown and all the walls had fallen down, and a dormant power had woken, and began to speak to the magic of nature. -She trembled, unable to express or suppress the overwhelming joy. Eyes filling with tears stared at the druids, telling them all of the thanks that her tongue was too numb to give shape to. She was so stunned that she barely heard what they said, absorbed as she was with new understanding, though one thought occured to her. 'What sacrifice?'

-Alatar felt a bit shaky after the ceremony was complete. He looked down at his hand and could feel some strange new power just below the surface. He searched his mind and discovered the new abilities that had been freshly unlocked. He pushed with a little effort of will for all these new elements to show on his hand. Within seconds a small fire had flared to life, it was bright and very nearly pure white, but some blue could be seen towards the center. Circling the flame were small globs of earth that were snowcapped. They just floated, unsupported by anything but the flame. Small sparks could be seen emitting from the fire, every once in a while. Alatar smiled, but a small bead of sweat formed on his temple. He closed his fist and with another effort of will, snuffed the flame out. "Thank you for this most gracious gift." Alatar said with a bow. 'Though powers such as these do not come without a price.' He thought to himself as he straightened.

-Kaane, too, first asked, "That is right, what sacrifice was this?" Although, he only had the guess, that bestowing these things onto them all could have been a drain on Tallum, hurting him in the process, though Kaane kept this to himself and hoped this was not the case, Tallum being generous and good to them all with this, and the shelter from the previous night. "Regardless, I must too give my thanks," Kaane bowed here, "this will be a great asset to me, and the gifts to the others all well received as well, I am sure." Kaane now got a feel for his new power, remember what he had felt as it coursed through him, summoning up the power to his hands, getting a feel so it would come easy to him in the future, then as it came, he released it, letting it course back throughout his body.

Marcel recovered from his swoon slowly, allowing the new thoughts that passed into his head take root and multiply. Though he did not feel he had gained any substantial knowledge, he did feel somewhat at ease with himself, feeling the anxiety he had felt earlier melt off his shoulders. He seemed to have a new look in his eye as he looked over the adventurers, as it seemed that his eyes were deeper, somehow.
Tallum leaned forward, pulling a small staff out of his robes and placing it on the ground in front of him. He leaned on it as he suddenly seemed short of breath. Captain Marcel instinctively jerked forward. As he peered at Tallum, he stopped his advance, feeling it wiser to let Tallum take care of himself. Tallum pushed himself back up, still trying to catch his breath.
"I am afraid that is all the strength I have for today. I wish you well on your journey." A couple druids came out to attempt to help Tallum, but he waved them off, insisting on standing by his own power. "I must rest now. However, this small piece of advice I can give you. Our scouts have noticed two sources of the orc armies. There is one further to the North, and one to the East. Whether one or both were emptied for the attack, I do not know. It is up to you how to handle that information. I am sorry that I cannot give you a proper send off, but I wish you well on your journey. May it be quick and peaceful, with many returns upon you."
Captain Marcel saluted Tallum as he walked off. "I thank you kindly for what you have done for us, Tallum. Be assured that King Manau of Bana will not forget this act soon."
Marcel then looked over the adventurers. "So, where to?"

-Eliana turned to see the various reactions of her comrades a bit surprised by some, though not by others, she turned to see the Druid kneel just so. Eliana could not help but be in awe of the man's power, after all he just assisted them all in ways that would surely turn the tide of battle, and he is only a bit winded, even able to walk himself to his chambers it seemed. Eliana bowed to the man once more, a smile on her face as she spoke softly. "I thank you once more, as I am sure we all do. Your gifts will not be in vain." She smiled to the man before turning back to the others. "Right then... we have two directions we could go." She nodded a bit, looking at the floor, before turning to Marcel. "I think East would be wise, since it is the closest to Bana, a good place for a surprise wave to hide, this way we could ensure the safety of Bana." Eliana paused for a moment, turning back to the others. "Though if any of you disagree, I suppose we could split up if need be...we are each individually strong, though I will leave that up to the rest of you." She smiled softly, still showing off her new outfit a bit, mostly to herself.

-Kaane spoke at his next convenience, "I think splitting up would be unwise, divided we would be picked off more easily. However, I leave that to you, Marcel. As for where we go first, you would have final say leading us... but... I agree, moving east seems logical, and if there lies no large force there, we may head north then to ensure all is safe and return, but we may fall back quickly if we find forces lying in the east after all, wasting no time." After finishing, he stepped back, and waited to hear the opinions of the others as well.

-"I say we go east, as well." Alatar said, after having thought through it for a little while. Of the 3 options, splitting up didn't seem wise in the slightest. The choice between east and north wasn't as easy. Both directions just stretched out in grassland. Eliana did have point. Being closer to Bana would most likely be the safer route.

-"East seems like a splendid direction!" Nathan said as he was still admiring his new armor.

Captain Marcel was silent for some time. He seemed to be weighing the options over in his mind as each of his eyebrows raised in turn. "It seems to me that Eliana does raise a good point. Should we find an overwhelming force, it would be best to pick the location closest to the safe haven that is Bana. It does not seem wise to split up our already small group. It seems we are all in agreement, then? To the East?"
