-Suddenly Butch shot up, hearing the commotion that Undine was stirring up. He quickly got to his feet, stumbling a little with the aftermath of sleep. He shook his head and gathered his thoughts, reasserting himself. He looked around, noticed the captive on the ground and sighed, not asking any questions. He drew a melee weapon at random and waited for what was about to happen.

-"Oh for the... *Sigh*" He looked onto the poor man, who had been fully complacent, now dieing, perhaps dead, on the ground. Talfen rushed over, and stabbed through his head with the rapier, making sure it would at least be a swift end. Hopefully Undine wouldn't be so rash in all of their escapades to come, it'd be saddening to see so many people killed in such a way, really more for those who had been helpful as this man had been. Talfen wondered about Luke's thoughts, considering he hadn't even the stomach to torture someone, now to see him killed in such a way.

-Ignoring the shocked faces of the humans, the elemental turned and flew towards a spiral of smoke a little way off. The blue flames died down as she left. -Landing a little way away from Matt, the elemental strode straight through him, soaking him to the core. She reached her hand, now crackling with ice, into the bush, and pulled out the intruder to her twin's forest. -Turning, she threw him to the ground before her feet. Then, she paused, for this interloper was a mere child; frightened and wide-eyed.

Luke noticed Butch woke up, calling over to him, when suddenly he felt Undine awaken, the fire engulfing all those men, even the one that had given information willingly. As he watched the poor men cry out in pain, Luke clinched his teeth in anger, cursing deeply to himself as he looked to Talfen with angry, yet saddened eyes. "All... a waste of life..." he cursed softly, stomping before regaining his composure slowly looking to Talfen "I appreciate your efforts... but its too late now... come, we should go find where Undine landed." Luke remarked, turning to Butch, urging him to fully awaken and follow them to reunite with the others.

-Butch finally shook off the aftermath of sleep. He saw Luke gesturing for Butch to follow him and so Butch did.

-Young Toby didn't know what to make of the scene spread out before him. All he knew was a lot of folks had just been murdered in front of him and he didn't know what to do. What he was feeling was something like a wanting to go home, or rather anywhere but here, mixed with a adrenaline raising survival instinct. -Clasping his eyes shut as tight as he could, he frantically pleaded: -"Jus lemme go I swear I won't tell anybody I don't even remember what you look like honest nobody has to know please just don't murder me!"

-Talfen shrugged, wanting to go back to sleep, however knowing he wouldn't, knew that today would be a long stretch. He walked along, letting Luke take the lead, a tired Butch strolling behind, as they made their way to Undine.

-Undine stared at the child. Complex emotions, not all her own, whirled around her head. -"I...have no intention to kill you child. And yet...I cannot let you stay here." -She paused gazing down at the small boy in front of her. Then she remembered the fire at the ship. Turning to face the smoking carcass of the airship, she raised one watery hand and motioned tenderly towards the flames, "Peace, peace my brother." The blackened wood extinguished, and the last of the smoke drifted away towards the moon. -Turning back to the little boy, her expression was grim, keeping anger at check-barely. _"What were you doing here, child? You and these flea-ridden scum have no right to be in this birthplace of spirits."

*Matt turned as it was Undine then he watched her grab the child and throw him to the ground.* "I think his crew said something about selling these trees because they were magic."*He leaned against a nearby tree took a cloth out and started to clean his blade.* "I think the boy is innocent if you want my input." Matt said trying to save the boy from a severe beating...

-The water elemental glared at Matt -"I did not ask for your 'input', human. The child will tell me why HE is here, I care not for the reasoning of corpses." -"And, the trees are not 'magic' they were the birth of my brother, Salamander. They are a part of him as the lake is part of me."

Luke ran up through the few trees that separated him, Butch, and Telfan from Undine and Matt, noticing the small child on the ground he turned to Undine first. "What is going on over here?" Luke spoke quickly, wanting to get to the bottom of this as his companions arrived, looking over to see the corpses of the pirates and the destroyed airship before sighing. "Well... looks like we weren't needed after all... who is the boy by the way?" He looked to see Undine with a ferocious look in her eyes, like a raging sea, his memory snapping into place. "Undine it is alright.. the boy wasn't hurting the forest... If i had to guess he was brought here against his will.. is that right boy?"

-Butch was following close behind Luke, still drowzy from sleep. He was just about to arrive when he saw a glint in the darkness. He gets distracted and runs over to it, but the glint keeps getting farther and farther away. He runs as fast as he can, but the glint is still very far away. All of the sudden the glint stopped in a small clearing, still too dark to see exactly what it was. Butch cautiously approached it, squinting to try and see it clearer, but to no avail. All of the sudden a light burst forth from the object's eyes, allowing the clearing to clearly be seen. There it stood, as tall as Butch, it's 'fur' uneven and mangled. It was made entirely out of metal, yet it seemed to be alive, reacting to Butch's every move. It grunted as Butch tried to extend a hand towards it, forcing him to draw it back. The metal being started sniffing, getting slowly closer to Butch as if searching for something. Butch didn't have anything, but then he remembered the muffin button. He pushed it and pulled out a fresh muffin, still steaming slightly. The metal being bleated in delight and devoured the muffin in one swift 'chomp'. "Well, I don't know what you are, but you're beautiful." Butch said as he started to pet the metal llama. It stood there and allowed him, but suddenly there was a crack from somewhere in the forest and the metal llama took off. In a flash it was gone, leaving Butch alone in the dark. He wondered where it went, but quickly remembered that he was supposed to be following Luke. He dashed to where Undine and Luke where, still wishing he had figured out what the thing was. "What's going on here?" He said as he ran into their meeting spot.

-Talfen stepped forward, talking low making sure Undine, perhaps his companions, would be the only ones to hear, not the boy "Undine, if I may say... he is but a child. He is as innocent as we humans can be, he would have no reason to lie to us. Emotions dominate the mind at such an age, the fear you've given him would assure us he has given us the truth, and will do so when questioned further. After that, we can send him on his way, home. No more bother to this land..." Talfen understood that this was not necessarily true, but was hoping he was convincing enough to get Undine to leave the boy alive, as Talfen knew that while he may not be truthful, he was still innocent in this matter. -Talfen turned to the boy "Now, would you be able to tell us why you're here, or what those men were doing? Anything at all, regardless of how unimportant it may seem?" Talfen attempted to be warm in his speech to the boy, yet it still came off as, not intimidating, but a bit awkward, still somewhat serious.

-The elemental glanced around the group, her eyes narrowed. -"Why do all of you fleshy creatures insist on offering their opinions when they are unasked for?" -She regarded Luke, and then shook her head "Whether he was harming the forest or not, he was here unpermitted. This is a place of spirits. Humankind is only welcome here at our request." -She turned her back on them, and walked away to touch one of the blackened trees along the scars hacked in by an axe. Her voice was full of memory as she spoke. -"Any human with a voice can be a liar, young or not. You cloak the truth now, mercenary."

Luke listened to Undine well before responding, turning to the boy, who seemed to frightened to speak for now. "I realize that, this place is sacred to you and we should all respect that...but I urge you to take pity on the child, if not out of compassion, then for trust in your comrades." Luke took a moment before he continued. "Children are nearly as innocent as humans can become, without being tainted with vile desire." At this Luke stepped forward slightly. "I...know all too well that even those that seem innocent... yet I look at this boy and I see no evil...all I can ask is for your trust for now." As Luke finished speaking, he turned his gaze from the boy to Undine.
