So I was fapping to the sound of my own voice while driving home and listening to my Backstreet Boys CD when I came up with this great idea. What if we had a free roaming RP based in the Fallout 3 lore, with my own personal touch of course! Low and behold, Tale of the Wasteland Rangers! Here are the rules
____________________________________________________
Allow to me to explain what this will be exactly. Like I said, it'll be a free roaming series of chat RPs based in a mix of my lore, and the Fallout 3 lore. Before you bitch about how there are too many RPs going on at once, and that I should wait for them to finish, know that I will only update this when nothing else is happening in those RPs, and they will take place in the chat box on my forum, thatfallout3guy.proboards.com/index.cgi What I want from YOU is a character! There are a couple of people, Luke and Gray, that already have existing characters in this lore, but not everyone can be as lucky as those two. I'll use my own character, that's right I said my own, as an example of what you need to put.

Name: Mitchel Brock
Age: 19
Race: (Human, Ghoul, or Mutant. I'll explain the advantages and disadvantages later in this post) Human
Alignment: Neutral Good
Tag Skills: (I'll give a list of skills to pick from later) Melee weapons, Sneak, and Lockpicking.
Occupation: Scavenger
Backstory: Mitchel was born and raised in the Capitol Wasteland by a small group of travelers, who took him in after they found him abandoned on the road. He stayed with them until he was 17, their leader teaching him everything he knows, before he went off on his own to become a scavenger. He still keeps in touch though.
Personality: He was sheltered by the travelers, and taught to avoid confrontation rather than embrace it. He's shy, and socially awkward, but he makes friends fairly quickly.
Appearance: Light blue eyes, light brown hair, clean shaven, and the biggest baby face you have ever seen. He's 6'1, and wears a black t-shirt that has a piece of shoulder armor strapped on his right shoulder, along with a holster for about twenty throwing knives that stretches from his shoulder to his waist. He wears a pair of blue jeans, and some old white sneakers he found one day at a store. He carries a one handed katana that he bought off of Lucky Harith.

Races
Now I said earlier that there are three races you can pick from. I'll run down the advantages, and disadvantages of each.
Humans: Humans are the most common of the three races, and are generally accepted by everyone. They don't have any special abilities though
Ghouls: Ghouls are healed by radiation, and are accepted by all other ghouls, even ferals. But, expect a lot of bigotry towards you if you play as a ghoul.
Super Mutant: There are quite a few advantages, but also quite a few disadvantages to being a Super Mutant. For starters, your strength will be far greater than that of a human or Ghoul. You'll be fantastic with melee weapons, and larger guns, but you'll erase all chances of ever being sneaky, or having many skills outside of combat. You'll also be immune to disease, poison, and radiation, but Super Mutants are more shunned than even ghouls.
Choose which race suits you best!

Now for the skills. Below I have listed all the skills that you can have! You may pick three.

The final thing I'd like to mention is perks. If you're not familiar with Fallout 3 and its perks, talk to me in private. If you are, send me a list of the five you'd like to start out with, and I'll tell you if you can has them or not.
____________________________________________________
Leveling: As I stated earlier, you will start at level 10, and you'll slowly get better and better. The basic rules of EXP. from Fallout 3 still apply to enemies, but quests are handled a bit differently. Quests will be rated on a one to five star system. One star being easier, and five being the hardest.
An example of a one star quest would be fixing the pipes in Megaton, while a five star quest would be single handily raiding the Deathclaw Sanctuary. Here's a breakdown of how much EXP. you'd get
I'll keep track of your EXP. and once you get enough, you'll level up. Every two levels you will get a new perk, and you'll get slightly better at your skills.

Have fun
- Rule 1: Your character has to fit in with the Fallout 3 lore
- Rule 2: You'll need to clear anything major with me before posting a character, such as certain parts of your characters backstory that could affect the entire canon.
- Rule 3: You will start out at level 10, meaning you'll have five perks. I'll explain more about the perks down below. You'll also level up by doing certain actions. I will list these actions later.
