-He had nearly been eaten by a giant crocodile, then he was nearly maimed by a giant cat, then he had his throat torn out, but this sent sent him over the edge. He slammed both of his fists on the ground as hard as he could and let out a primal scream that was so loud it nearly deafened his companions. -The giant bird that had saved Gray looked up as it heard the scream. -"For Elder Lyons!" A Paladin shouted as he finished off the mutant, "Phew that was tou-" He stopped as he heard the scream. "That voice sound familiar to you?" He asked his squad. -Fawkes sat down his book, "Another good read, but I can't help but wonder how-" He too heard the scream, "M-my friend?!" -"Find him! And close shut the jaws, of Oblivio-" The Emporer was interrupted by the scream as well. -Fallout finished screaming a stood back up, "MOOGLE YOU COCK BITING FUCK TARD SON OF AN STD INFECTED CUNT MUFFIN WHORE!!!! -Noven reached out to the spasming Fallout. "Fallout, Fallout! It was just a troll! Nothing but vile vermin, not the "real" Moogle. You satisfy it ever more with your anger, now control yourself!"

-"Noven, I don't expect Martial or Gray to know why I'm so mad, but you I do!" He glared at his friend, "How many times did we see merchants taking everything from good people, just for water? How many times did we see grown men cry and beg for water? How many women and children have you seen gunned down for water?! THIS IS TAKING IT TOO FAR!!!! I swear that whatever that thing is it won't be around much longer! I will see to its demise personally!! Now c'mon, I don't want to be here anymore."

-The artist's freshly tanned and naked legs flailed in the air as he fought for freedom despite his lack of breath.

-Noven ignored the wailing Fallout to help pull him out of the sand before he ended up dieing from suffocation.

-As he looked down he noticed his man meat was hanging down for everyone to see. 'Naked in a desert? It's Vegas all over again.' -He then looked over at everyone else and noticed that they were also nude. Not wanting to make things more weird than they already were he began to walk over to the clothes pile. -Fallout ignored Martial, knowing that Noven could get him out. -He then walked over to the pile of clothes, being sure to carefully inspect them for snakes and other poison creatures. After seeing that there were none he put on his armor and walked over to Martial who was now sitting on the ground. -"Done playing around?" He asked with a smirk, extending his hand to help him up.

-When Fallout's little ragefest, he went and grabbed his armor and got dressed. Halt saw that it was safe to do so without another giant ostrich thing coming out of nowhere and also went over and put on his clothes, making absolutely sure not a speck of sand was left on his cloak.

-The day had run long, and yet the oppressive sun hung mocking in the sky. At first they sweat some much as to rival the once flowing river. Now their pores ran dry from exhaustion. Their mind had begun to wander, their once charged gait had changed to an awkward shuffling. Several times each of them tripped and fell, only to get back up at the coaxing of their comrades. -The lone wanderer, who had put up a convincing facade of endurance, ultimately succumbed to the heat and fell unconscious. The weird beard Halt, being the strongest, lifted him on his shoulders and carried him forth, sparing him the discomfort of being dragged across the harsh sands, despite the dehydration he felt tearing at his gut. Each individual throat felt as naked as the unadorned riverbed, akin to them in that it was robbed of moisture by the sky as well. -Eyes nearing the backs of their heads, there came a moment that caused the conscious party so much joy as put some kick in their step once more. They even chanced waking Fallout, though he was not yet in fit state to walk. -Several hundred yards a way, there stood a sandy tan city of one hundred or so desert structures.

-Fallout finally came to on top of Beard, 'Damn.' He thought, 'Shouldn't have screamed like that.' He thought about telling Gray, but he enjoyed not walking, and fell back asleep.

-Noven was hopeful that they'd meet life in this upcoming city. Not just life, he reminded himself, but something not looking to kill the group. People that could help them, say resupply or at least provide shelter for rest. He spoke up "Martial, do you think this upcoming city will be peaceful? Or should we prepare for battle yet again?"

-'Why do I always get stuck with the grunt labor' Halt thought grumpily. He adjusted the Wanderer on his back and trudged ahead towards the town in the distance.

-With newfound vigor they trudged on toward the dusty city. The building were mostly square and made of dull sand-colored bricks with the exception of a massive circular coliseum in the center made of a rich, imported red sandstone. Around the edges of it, the buildings were pressed back to make way for a crowded and noisy bazaar. Even before they had crossed through the city gates, the noise pierced their ears like water through a faulty dam. - The 'streets' (for want of a better term, they were little more than slightly more compacted patches of sand that connected the buildings together) were packed with merchants speaking strange tongues, cut purses and thieves, children running amok, and quite commonly combinations thereof. Truly one may never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. -The closest buildings to the edge of the coliseum were the shops, or which there were at least one for each thing you could possibly need. Weapons shops, groceries, taverns, potters, tanners, black smiths, pet stores, bee keepers, novelty stores, and every thing else you could think of were represented here, but the only thing in the entire city worth noting for these gentlemen was stood right next to the city gates. Though the groundwater was rusty, this well produced the sweetest elixir they'd ever tasted. -After the glorious liquid lessened the effects of the Wanderer's recent heatstroke, the part set for the bazaar. A peddler appeared at the parties knees in hopes of selling some cheap items, but *message reduced* just shoo'd him off. -"Come on, I know a place." he said. We a new resolve he traversed the marketplace.

-"So, Martial, what's the plan? Supplies shop? Weapons? Seems like we're starting to run out of water and food..." Noven was still tired from the previous excursions, worn down. Noven was placing his trust in Martial, so he'd follow his lead, but common sense was saying they needed to resupply badly. Besides that, they had almost nothing for ammunition as well

-Halt had decided to remain silent this entire time. He instead went with just thinking to himself. 'Water...' The thought just circled his mind even as he was scanning the crowd, his Ranger instincts getting the better of him. He forced himself to calm down. 'Just being paranoid,' he thought to himself. But still every once in a while he'd spot a shady character, then he'd remind himself that they're ALL shady. Halt wondered what this lack of water would do to his mist powers, so he decided to try. He lifted his hand to his face and concentrated. Nothing happened. Halt sighed and just prayed that they would find some fresh water soon. Haagen had been tailing behind him the entire time and finally looked up at him with what seemed to be a worried expression. "Don't worry," Halt whispered to him. "I'm sure we'll find some water soon." With that thought, he continued to follow the group.
