-Kaane noticed that he could bounce the fireballs back, and devised a plan to take advantage. He turned in at the mage, leaning forward with shield in front, and rode fast at him. He raised mace behind him, and deflected the fireballs in front of him, not really caring about trying to deflect them in anyway specific, but to get them out of the way. He approached and prepared to strike out with a blow, one that would almost surely strike with lethal force to the mage should he make a direct hit.

-Caterina took her last arrow, and fitted it to the string. Another archer, who stood behind the mage due to their disrupted lines, copied her action. They loosed arrows together, working as one in the near-psychic manner that an archer's instincts often syncronise. Caterina's arrow hit from the front, and the other archer's hit from behind. -Her eyes met his as they both shot, and he smiled and dipped his head towards her. He had a look that reminded her somewhat of her brother.

Nathan tore the robe apart as he was hit with the blast of ice. He was knocked back a bit, but stayed on his feet, "That was quite impressive, BUT IT IS NOT OVER YET!" Nathan exclaimed as he charged the thing again.

Eliana's poleaxe shot through the mage. It pierced through his back, coming out of the front of the mage. The mage looked down at the point of the weapon and a portion of the axe poking out through his stomach. He gurgled and fell over, dead before he hit the ground.
Kaane rode forward on his horse, deflecting the fireballs as he charged. As Kaane swung the mace, the mage tried to duck out of the way, but could not. The mace struck the mage square in the forehead, sending him flying backward a few feet. As the mage landed on the ground, the staff fell out of his outstretched hand. The mage exhaled his last breath and died.
Caterina and the other archer's arrows hit the mage in the head at the same time from different directions. Caterina's arrow hit the mage squarely in the right eye, piercing all the way through and poking out the other side. The other archer's arrow went in through the back of the mage's head, coming out of the mage's left eye. The mage's head spun from the torque of the simultaneous blows, his body gave way, and he collapsed where he stood, twitching on the ground for a few seconds, then died.
As Nathan charged, the mage fired another ball of ice at Nathan's face. Nathan quickly ducked underneath it before leaping in the air. As Nathan reached the peak of his jump, he unsheathed his katana, slicing downward on the mage's neck. The katana sliced through the base of the mage's neck, slicing through the spinal cord before stopping somewhere in the mage's ribs. The mage growled at Fallout before dying, collapsing forward a bit, leaning on Fallout.
Captain Marcel, now in the middle of the fray, began rallying his troops. The men of Bana ran forward, driving the remaining orcs off, who fled as quickly as they could. Some of the orcs did not make it, though, as the archers continued to fire on them as they retreated. After the orcs fled, Captain Marcel walked up to the travelers as they and the men of Bana gathered around him. He lifted up his large sword and cheered. The men of Bana cheered along with him. "This has been a great day for Bana. We shall not forget this day. This, this is the dignity of our great Tribe. We shall go back to Bana and we shall celebrate our great victory!" The men of Bana cheered again as they slowly began making their way back to the safety of the walls. Many of the men remained, tending to the wounded and the dead, leaving the orcs behind.

Eliana stood there as the Mage fell to the earth with a thud, watching as the remaining Mages fell to her comrades, and the men of Bana drove the orcs back. The small smile at their victory seemed to vanish softly as she turned her eye to the carnage that was left behind, slinging her halberd once, throwing most of the blood onto the earth. "So much death... it is always a sad thing." She began, turning over to see Captain Marcel and the men cheering their victory. "But there is a purpose for it all." She smiled softly walking over to the men and watching their celebration before turning back to the bodies. "Now it is time..." Eliana began, mumbling an inaudible prayer, as she made several symbolic movements with her hand, having sheathed her weapon to use both hands. As she whispered, her hands began to glow, leaning down, Eliana touched her finger tips to the chest of a slain Banan soldier. "Now may you rest eternal, embraced by celestial fire." Eliana whispered sweetly almost as if a lullaby, a small flame sprouting from her hands, spreading over the corpse like wildfire and engulfing it, spreading over the entire field quickly, the fire gold and white, as if the dancing lights of the north were upon the ground, quickly reducing all the remains to ash. "What do you think you are doing?!" A man approached Eliana from the side, his voice panicked as if terrified instead of angry. "You will set the forest ablaze!" Eliana sighed softly, as she rose from her crouched position, turning to the man "Don't worry yourself silly~" She smiled, taking the man by the hand and hovering it above the flame. After his initial panic he seemed baffled as to why his hand was not searing off. "This is not an ordinary flame surely you see? Celestial fire, cremation, consumes only the bodies of the dead and puts them at rest, it can not harm normal plants nor humans~" She giggled a bit "Though I suppose the undead wouldn't be too happy with it." She laughed. After her display, Eliana turned around, the ashes scattering to the wind behind her, where there was once so much blood now held an air of almost peace. Making her way back to the infirmary, Eliana spoke out for most to hear, including her friends who weren't far off. "I am available for a bit of healing if it is needed, though I am no mage, so don't show up with your arm up your arse please?" She laughed a bit.

-Kaane looked to the field, seeing the orcs defeated, the mage next to him dead, his mace bloody from the day's combat. He gave his horse an easy time for how well it had served him today, slowly riding it back at ease, as he cleaned his weapon clear, and sat back, tired from the combat. He eventually returned to the others, finding Eliana first out of them all. He watched while approaching her how she was dealing with the dead, cremating the bodies with some sort of magic flame. He spoke nothing to her, and followed back to the camp, watching the wounded come in, observing how the soldiers were feeling after the battle. Kaane didn't have much energy to bring up conversation, or the desire to at the time.

-Caterina smiled gently at the archer when she felt a nudge to her shoulder. Torrado's gentle brown eyes were full of pain and trust. She unstrung her bow and slid it in her quiver. Then she put her arms around his sleek black neck. Hearing Eliana's announcement, she walked towards the paladin, Torrado walking with a limp behind her, ever sure of his mistress's ability to look after him. -"Please, noble paladin, could you heal my horse? He was hit by an arrow and...he is my best friend...please!" There were tears in Caterina's eyes. She hated that her lovely horse was hurting. -As she spoke, out of habit to avoid grief, she drew Nymeria and Fuego and wiped them carefully clean. The steel shone brightly, reflecting Eliana's green eyes as she watch the young Castillunian trying not to cave in to fear.

"VICTORY COMRADES!" Nathan exclaimed as he flexed, "IT WAS A GLORIOUS BATTLE INDEED! THEY FOUGHT HARD, BUT WE FOUGHT HARDER! THIS DAY WILL BE REMEMBERED IN HISTORY MY FRIENDS!" Nathan exclaimed while laughing, "NOW COME! Let us have a glorious feast!"

As the army re-entered the land of Bana, they found a large feast awaiting them in the center of town, surrounding a large fire pit. There was a large table set up with large roasts of pork, beef, and venison. There was also a large selection of the local harvests, full of squash, cabbage, carrots, and lettuce. There was a section of sauces that included a hunter's sauce, a jus, a butter sauce, a white wine sauce, and an egg sauce. Finally, to the far right of the table was a series of desserts. There were large pies, cakes, and puddings of all the local ingredients on the table. To the right of that table were giant casks of wine and ale. The men began to grab food off of the table, sitting around the fire pit as they ate, silently remembering the events of the day.
The King was still in the infirmary tending to the wounded. He was not the best healer in the land, but he felt it was his duty as a King to help those that truly defended the land for him. He had no healing powers to speak of, but tended to the wounded with what medical knowledge he did have. He refused to leave until all those that required help received the care they needed.
Captain Marcel was the last to enter through Bana's northern gates. He walked slowly through them, before giving one final salute to the men that had died on the battlefield that day, a tear running down his cheek. As he entered, he met the travelers again. "Please, do what you can to enjoy our victory today. For surely, without your assistance, this victory would not have been possible . You deserve more thanks than anyone, and you have most assuredly earned the trust and respect of our men. Please, enjoy the food, the wine, and the company. We will wait on the decision from the King before we make any move. He will most assuredly make that decision tomorrow."

-Kaane admired the king, honestly caring for those that served him, showing respect to those under himself based on the ranks of power.
-Kaane sat down at the table, taking a large amount of the variety of meat around him on the table, enjoying the food, talking some with those around him from the past battle. He first spoke to Eliana, however. "As the two of us met battle, we faced separation from each other. However, I did see you in battle, you are a powerful fighter." Kaane was relaxed, having eaten some and having drank a small amount of wine.

Barnabas looked around Bana, He was glad this place could once more live freely without fear of invasion from the hordes of Orcs.
The last few hours had been like a blur to him but he remembered sabotaging the equipment, and if he remembers correctly he got caught by the women of the tribe, god that was humiliating but you should never underestimate a women's potential. Had a heated row with the tribe leader and fought his way out of the camp. Then he returned here with the others. That seems right so far.
Anyway now is not the time to dwell on these things, it's time to enjoy everything this place has to offer in its food and drink. "Everything looks so tempting" Barnabas said.
And with that he sent off towards the table

Eliana turned her green gaze to the choked up Caterina before her, feeling her heart catch in her chest, she quickly answered, bringing her hand to her chest. "Ah it is no trouble at all Cat! Please don't fret... here let me see." Eliana began, stepping over to the beautiful horse that was companion to Caterina so, Torrado. Eliana lifted both hands and let the golden glow take over, as if she was tuning a radio, as the light seemed to shine over the horse's body, before taking a sigh of relief. "Torrado will be fine it seems." Eliana sighed happily "It isn't poisonous nor is it fatal, simply a flesh wound thankfully." Eliana smiled now, leaning down to the wounded leg, watching as he seemed to limp a bit, holding it up. Eliana hovered both of her hands over the spot before glowing a deeper gold, before slowly the bit of broken arrow that remained inside was removed, and fell to the ground with a light thud. Torrado seemed to not be in pain at the moment, despite the chunk of metal that was removed, curiously cocking his head to look at Eliana along with Caterina. Finally, with the bit of twisted metal and wood removed, Eliana murmured a soft prayer, her hands lighting up much brighter now, her green eyes looking down at the wound as if concentrating, as she began to heal the wound. The torn flesh almost seemed to mend itself, as one would a blanket, slowly up the entry wound until all that remained was a bit of blood stained fur. Standing back up, Eliana sighed "There... Torrado should be fine now Cat..." She smiled happily, turning back to Caterina then leaning in close "Just keep him away from sharp pointy things for a week and he will do fine." She seemed to joke, before turning to the horse. "You were a good patient too! I guess the pain killer helped more then normal." She nodded then turned to Cat once more. "I hope I didn't keep you in suspense for too long Cat~" She smiled. "It is my duty as a paladin to help those in need!" Eliana seemed to announce proudly, then fell into a fit of laughter, before turning and running off to the infirmary once more.
While inside the infirmary, Eliana went to work assisting the King, watching as he did his best for his own people. Feeling a bit of pride for the man, Eliana couldn't help but speak up. "A true King's duty really, helping his people, never seen it done so directly before." She mentioned, walking over to a man that seemed to be bleeding from his left arm, holding up the soft glow of her hands once more, and mending the flesh. "It shows character truly." She smiled.
Eliana arrived late for the feast, busy with helping the infirmary out, rushing in a bit flustered before quickly becoming seated beside Kaane. Hearing him mention seeing Eliana in battle made her smile softly to herself, giving him a look out of the corner of her green eyes. "Hm? Oh my... seeing me battle? I hope I didn't offend you with my less then lady-like attitude." She chuckled, before turning to face him. "Actually, you impressed me Ken, I saw the fireworks you set off with that mage's fireballs, a powerful shield you have. " She gave him a warm smile, returning her green eyes to her plate and picking a few choice sections of food before eating hungrily at them all. "Ah.. you should excuse me Ken, magic takes a lot outta this lady." She laughed, covering her blush with a move of her arm as if to brush her hair. "I thank you however, I am proud to have one skilled as you on my side." She sighed almost "Looks like we may need it if the societies have their way." Eliana almost grumbled before smiling softly "Still worth it though." She said, eying the happy people of Bana, then back to her plate.

-Caterina smiled at the paladin, as her eyes were caught by a body, shrouded in cloth, being carried out of the infirmary. The cloth slipped, revealing the face of the young archer who had aided her in killing the mage. She gasped, eyes wide and sorrowful, then walked to a quiet, shaded corner of the fortress, Torrado trotting after her. She sat down in the thick grass, and her horse laid next to her. Gazing into the web of stars above her, her mind was full of memories and sorrow. Battles always made her feel sad. The loss of life, both in the great battle and in battles gone by, made her young, bright heart ache. At that moment, she wanted nothing more than to be at home, with her brother, not here in some far-flung place with countless strangers. She was no stranger to travel herself, but...something about the current adventure made her fearful, as if some great journey was only just beginning.
-Eventually, she rejoined the feast, and took up her customary role as a charming, friendly ambassador for her nation. But behind her bright smile and glowing eyes, sorrow welled.

The travelers met around the large pit, eating their meal in a muted celebration of their victory. The men felt the presence of their fallen comrades all around them as they ate, though they all put on a smile, thankful for their ability to defend their homeland. The King finally came out to meet them, having helped his men as best he felt he could under the circumstances. He met the travelers as they ate, grabbing a couple things to eat.
"I thank you for your participation in today's battle. Surely, the battle could not have been won without your assistance. Please, do what you will for the evening. We will convene in the morning to discuss any further plans we may have as this situation may warrant. For now, the men need rest. It has been a hard day." The King then walked slowly back to his palace, accompanied by a couple guards, still eating as he walked.
Captain Marcel walked up to the travelers. "We have had very many battles, but never have we won the battle so decisively. We have you to thank for that. We have won such battles before. But, this was by far the largest army that we have come across. Their forces must be weakened. Perhaps it is best to move for the counter-attack now. But, that is for the King to decide. It is beyond my ability to make such a decision. I can only present my opinion and carry out the actions given to me. So, tell me of your exploits before we go to bed. I seem to know so little of you."

-Caterina smiled, eyes sparkling. -"I am Caterina di Cabaliero, of the fire-by-the-sea, known as Valenthia. I am, like most Castillunians, fiercely proud of my heritage. I was born a poor waif on the streets of the royal city. One day, in the annual parade to comemorate Queen Arya I's liberation and defence of the nation, I ran through the crowds chasing a small fox kit that I had been raising. I stumbled and fell between the front hooves of a large, fine horse. Instead of being frightened, I reached up and petted him. The guards made to grab me, and even their bright swords did not make me flinch. The rider of the horse dismounted, and walked to me, motioning for the guards to leave me alone. I looked up, and saw that it was Queen Isabella! She put me on her great horse, and we rode through the streets and back to the castle." "From that day forth, I was raised to be the Queen's Falcon, an ambassador to both rich and poor who answers only to Isabella herself. Being a peasant by birth, I strive to protect who are given little by many to look after themselves, and this is my next highest priority after serving my Queen and my brother, Prince Rafael."
-She paused, taking a bite of the apple she had been eating before Captain Marcel had begun the conversation, her thoughts drifting towards her adopted brother. Then she forced her mind back to the overview of herself. "I have been in large battles before, but I am not trained for them as a soldier is. Truth be told, such big, bloody affairs frighten me. The stench of death...well, you are soldiers, so you must understand. Even though I have fought in a fair few battles, I am not yet numb to the chaos and the screaming and the dying." "My skills in combat are my archery and my skill with the rapier, which is of course not designed for hacking through armour. In this, I was trained by the great master Syrio Forel. From him, I learned the grace and elegance of the water dance. His advice taught me much, and continues to teach me even now. Quick as a snake, soft as a shadow. He is one of the most important people in my life, and, I declare, the best swordsman in the whole of the world!" "Well, using Syrio's lessons, and my own self-taught archery, I have fought in battles for my country, and won duels for her also, which I prefer. But my heart is not in combat. I love to learn, especially about magic" here, her eyes flitted briefly to Eliana, "and I adore animals of all kinds, and I've a fair hand with them. Some say that's a kind of magic of its own, other than that, I'm completely mundane!" She laughed, clear and pure, and the others felt smiles tug at their lips. She was infectiously charming.
-"So, there you are. This is something of me. A person of contradictions. A grubby beggar child raised by a queen. An unmagical girl fascinated with the arcane. A good fighter who would rather not battle (though Syrio tells me this is a good thing, yes? Just so.). A frequenter of noble courts who scorns the unwarranted self-importance she finds there. A well mannered woman who picks pockets and eavesdrops. All for my Queen, my country, my people, and my family. And now for the Luminaires, yes?" -She took another bite of the crimson fruit. -"Just so. Also, I like music and dancing. Oh! Remind me to tell you of the siege of Madrilona some time! It was glorious!" -She took another
