Eliana arrived to the seemingly crowd that was growing of adventurers, galloping up into place with shadowrun, Eliana looked over them all with a smile "Oooh look, new people." Eliana cheered "How strange that 5 strangers arrive at the same spot at similar times...perhaps our destinies are intertwined~?" She toyed with the idea, flashing them all a bright green eyed gaze, before turning to the sudden interruption. "Indeed I do... I am with the Firmaments, a Paladin." Eliana flashed the symbol around her neck to the man, with a tone of shyness and yet haste before quickly dropping it to dangle once more from her neck. "I have business here...as for the others... well ask them yourselves!" Eliana chuckled lightly.

Barnabas then stood forward staring at the man unafraid. "I am with the Luminaires and I here to assist the Tribe of Bana in any way possible. He then gave a courteous bow to the gentleman almost mocking him. Barnabas stepped back into the group

"Very well," Nathan said as he hopped off of his horse, "The name's Wrathgar! Nathan Wratgar of Hillspar, and I too have some at the request of the Luminaries to aid in any way that I can," Nathan said as he stood beside his horse, which he had named Frisky.

-With all of this new company, particularly the new horses, Torrado was frisking, his attention slipping. She frowned at his behaviour, and signalled for his attention in the form of a levade. Holding his body up for a few moments made the stallion calm down. -She turned to the guard, an amiable smile on her face. -"Greetings, noble friend. At the request of the Luminaires, myself, Torrado and...our bird friend have come to aid the Tribe of Bana. If you could convey us and our greetings to whoever is in charge here?" -With a warm nod, she then turned to the other woman, "So, you're a paladin? You can use holy magic? That sounds wonderful!" -Then, to Nathan, "the Grand Champion? That's quite a force to bring to the fight!" -"And to the rest of you, greetings! I'm going to hazard a guess and say we are all here for a similar purpose, si?"Her eyes wandered to Baron as she spoke, and she gazed at him ponderously. 'I think I've seen you before...'

-Baron promptly removed his hat and made an effort to shake hands with all the men and cooly kiss the hands of both women, and instructed Marlowe to do the same. -"I'd be surprised if you hadn't. My name is Baron Alexander Von Eyre the 5th of the Highward Von Eyre's. I too come on behalf of the Luminaires in aid of the Bana people. This here is my man of service, Joseph Marlowe." -Marlowe smartly bowed upon mention of his name.

The guards standing on the battlements turned to each other, speaking softly so that the travelers outside the wall could not hear. The man that had spoken earlier stepped forward again. "The Luminaires and the Firmaments sent you? You are late. Get inside," he shouted. He then walked to the other side of the battlements, shouting down to the inside, "Open the gates!" The cry was echoed by a few different voices on the other side of the wall. The great cogs and gears on the other side could be heard, a little rusty, as the gate slowly began to rise, allowing the travelers entry into the great courtyard.
Inside, they found a large green field. Scattered throughout the field were thatch huts. There were a few stone buildings inside with forges alight inside. In the middle of the large green field was a large castle made of stone. It had four towers, one on each corner. Atop each of the tower was a large horn spun around the tower, their mouthpieces lying somewhere within the castle.
A few large men were standing around the travelers as they traveled toward the castle, led by two guards. The guards were wearing the same helmets, shoulders, and armor, but now the iron leggings could be seen. They were iron in the front and back of the leg with leather straps holding them in place. Underneath the iron thigh and shin coverings were black shorts that made it about half way down to the knee. The men in the courtyard seemed to scoff at the travelers as they passed, seemingly uncaring of the assistance they were receiving by their presence.
Inside the courtyard, the travelers could see that the entire area was surrounded by walls on all four sides. Across the courtyard from where they had entered, there was a larger wall than the one they had passed through. This wall was easily a hundred feet tall with a gate that was reinforced with large logs that were propped up diagonally.
The travelers were led into the throne room, where the King greeted them. "Welcome, travelers and esteemed members of the Luminaires and Firmaments," he said graciously. "You are indeed welcome amongst the Tribe of Bana. Your assistance in this matter is of a great importance and we thank you for your participation."

Before Eliana had a chance to respond the group was being led through the courtyard. The sights took Eliana in, forcing her to forget the kind statement from the other young woman, and the greetings from the Baron. Eliana nudged the guards "A tribe? That is one hell of a castle..." She watched in awe before finally snapping back to the woman who had addressed her before. "Oh dear, did this silly thing give it away again?" She toyed with her pendant, flicking it gently in her hand, exposing the eye silhouetted by the white flames. "I am indeed a Paladin miss...ah your name I would be so kind as to ask?" She chuckled, as Eliana turned her green eyes over the woman before her. "You may call me Eliana, this is my friend, Shadowrun, though we have only just met." She giggled. "Holy magic you said? Indeed I have that as well..." She smiled, lifting her hand as they rode and allowed her hand to light up gently with a soft white and yellowish light, lowering it so the woman before Eliana could see it better. "A small healing spell... I always loved the feeling I get from it." She smiled happily, before turning to the Baron. "Baron von...uh.. I think Ill call you Barry." She smiled happily. "Man of...service huh?" She tilted her head quizzically "Oh my... well that is a shame good Baron, I am sure one such as you gets many offers from grubby... ah I mean lovely ladies, only to see your affections are taken." She was sent into a fit of giggles, before turning back to the others that did not greet her. "And a hello to you all as well! I am not sure what purpose we are going for but..." She turned to see they were approaching the castle. "I guess we will see."
Eliana smiled to the King, bowing a bit to him. "Lovely to meet you your majesty, I am Eliana, a Paladin currently on a quest for the Firmaments." She turned over to the guards, then the man before her. "Ah but...you have what seems to be an entire army, what could 6 warriors possibly do for you?" She looked the man over a bit curious.

Nathan walked through the city and admired all the sights, completely oblivious to what the others were saying, but he did happen to hear Eliena speak. He let out a chuckle as he continued to walk.
Nathan stood there before the king, not bowing in the slightest, "I am honored to help sir. So long as our enemy is mighty I will do my best in the name of the tribe of Wrathgar!" Nathan exclaimed as he pumped his fist. He then finally noticed Eliena and went to speak with her, "Pleasure to meet you miss," He said to Eliena, "I heard the comment you made to... Barry I think you said his name was. That made me chuckle, but I also heard you are a paladin! Fierce warriors known for their tenacity in combat, and as healers. If half the tales I hear are true then I look forward to gracing the field of battle with you!" Nathan said with a grin on his face.

-Kaane stepped forward to join Eliana, "I must inquire as well, how, exactly, may we offer assistance? I am glad to offer aid, however, I just do not exactly see how we may go about doing such."

Barnabas stood before the king and bowed. He then said with a smile "Sir I pledge that I will try do whatever is necessary in whatever service you require of us, I am sure the others feel the same no?" Barnabas then looked at everyone

-Silently, Baron made an effort at least analyze each of his new company. -The first girl, Eliana, seemed to be quite scatterbrained. Clearly a simpleton, she was clearly the product of wasted education, not knowing of the Von Eyre business nor the meaning of servitude. Her feeble attempts at slanted humor did not justify a response. Obviously the firmaments recruited from the lower half of society. -The shadowy one, Barnabas, despite his name appeared quite reserved. He appeared to be a man of action rather than words. His introduction was simple and without nonsense. Baron made a mental note to keep an eye on him. -The big fellow, Wrathgar, seemed a little excitable but formidable. His demeanor did not show a large evidence of vanity; it seemed he declared he was that good because he WAS that good. He did seem a little giddy however, narrating himself. So long as they were fighting on the same team, he was decidedly no threat. -Something about the second woman, who hadn't introduced herself, intrigued him. She had a certain air of esteem to her. Her voice spoke a tale of romanticism and profile. She had recognized Baron, which meant she was of distinguished company at least. -The other man, who also hadn't given forth a name went straight to the point in his questioning. Clearly he was the type of person who would get a job done when it was his responsibility. Still, his ambiguity bothered Baron, who resolved to look into him further when the opportunity arose.

The King of the Tribe of Bana stood up, his long dark green robes hung from his shoulders, revealing the white fur with black spots lining the inside. His crown was small, simply a circle of gold with spikes. It had no jewelry and no ornamentation of any kind. He cupped his hands together behind his back as he paced back and forth.
"Many of you are more observant than the others the Luminaires and the Firmaments have sent." He sighed noticeably as he turned around, continuing to pace back and forth. "We do indeed have an army here. However, the army that we expect in a few days is larger than any we have seen before. We do not believe we have a large enough army to defeat the oncoming army." He turned around again, continuing to pace as his eyes moved from the ceiling to the floor as he spoke. "We believe the orcs have brought both technology and sorcery this time. Our scouts have reported large trebuchets as well as battering rams, archers, and ladders. From previous battles, we know that the orcs possess magic. We have seen their fire; we have seen their ice; we have seen their lightning." He paused as his eyes began to well up. He turned his back to the adventurers and wiped his eyes. He turned back around to face them.
He walked up to Eliana, his deep blue eyes looking deep in her emerald eyes, then down at her pendant. "I trust your skills as a Paladin may help us in our battle, as well as your newly-acquired powers from the Firmaments." He patted her on the shoulder, leaning in close. "Your prowess on the battlefield will surely be an asset to our cause."
He stepped over to Nathan, flicking his short black hair backward. "Well met, Indolorian," he said as he tightly gripped and shook Nathan's arm. "I hear you have quite the reputation down South. Although I can assure you these orcs will be tougher than your usual opponents. The power that you have gained from the Luminaires will surely prove the difference in this fight." He leaned in close. "We need you in this fight." He patted Nathan on the shoulder.
He stepped over to Kaane, noticing his shield. "Greetings, Elf," he said. "I am afraid I know little about you. However, I see the shield on your back and I know you have been initiated into the Luminaires. Therefore, I know that your skills in battle will speak for themselves." He leaned in close to Kaane. "I have heard legends from the moogles of Molio of an elf that can create lightning out of the earth itself. I should very much like to see that on the other side of our walls against the horde of orcs."
He stepped over to Barnabas. "Assassin," he said somewhat cautiously. "It is good to have you on our side for this battle. I put my trust in the Luminaires fully. Please do not let me or them down." He leaned in close. "Perhaps we can find a better use for you than simply putting you in the front lines."
He walked over to Baron. "Baron Alexander Von Eyre the 5th," he said in quite an official tone. "I have expected your initiation into the societies for some time. I am glad to see you have chosen your father's society, the Luminaires." He eyed Baron's proper garb carefully. "I assume you shall go to battle in this, fitting a Von Eyre. I surely hope you can hold your own in battle, as I am afraid this opponent cannot be talked down." He leaned in close. "I see your father has given you the cane. Use it well."
He walked over to Caterina. "Queen Isabella de Valenthia's Falcon," he said with a small bow at the neck. "Your visit here is perhaps long overdue. It seems Castillunia does not wish to show their alliance with the Luminaires so openly. That is fine," he said. "Since you have been initiated, I am sure that your prowess on the battlefield equally matches your poise in the royal court." He leaned in closely. "Your assistance in this matter would most assuredly please your mother."
He stepped back, addressing the group once more as he took his seat in his cushioned throne, the throne next to him still empty. "I hope that you make the right decision. Though our army may be large, both in number and in stature, however their quality is simply not of your caliber. The battle simply cannot be won without your help, leaving all of Namora vulnerable to the attack. If you wish to stay and fight, quarters have been prepared for you on the main floor surrounding the dining hall. Feel free to make yourselves at home. Explore the town, meet the people, perhaps get some armor or weapons from our shops. However, do not get too comfortable. War is upon us."

Raising an eyebrow to the two men, Eliana reached her hand out and shook Nathan's. "Lovely to meet you as well...ah Nathan was it?" She smiled brightly, before taking a pondering pose. "I think I will call you... Nate, not my most creative, but it will do." She shrugged before taking note of what Nate was saying. "Ah you mean Barry? Yes he seems to have a stick up his bum over what I said, I guess he just isn't use to good nature teasing...or perhaps it is women all together." She whispered the last part between the two, giggling at the thought of how much fun torturing someone so touchy in the future will be. Eliana nodded to Nate's mention of her paladin status, lifting the necklace a bit to reveal the symbol. "Indeed I am, work to protect the weak and bring an end to evil all over!" She said in a louder, more patriotic voice, making a stance as if marching forward before laughing a bit to herself. "You yourself look a bit tough...only time will tell if you can really measure up to the challenge." She grinned. "Have you ever fought a paladin? It is not an experience many forget you know."
As the King spoke Eliana listened intently, noticing the man's eyes move to her 'pendant' indeed, yet simply nodded along. "Ah I think I see your predicament... well you have my support, that of the paladins." She bowed to the King before standing and looking back at her 'team' she assumed by now. "I don't believe we have spoken...Barney?" she chuckled again. "I hope I don't have to worry about you catching me in a dark corner. "She nodded to Barnabas "Though you must be quite something to have made it this far..." She turned her eyes over the others for a bit. "I do not believe you introduced yourself miss...?" Eliana spoke to Caterina. "He mentioned Queen Isabella so..." She spoke hesitantly, as if nervous before seeming to calm herself.

-Caterina had been listening intently, giving the King her utmost attention. When he greeted her, she smiled, and dipped into an elegant curtsey. -"I, Caterina di Cabaliero, once Falcon to Queen Isabella de Valenthia and still faithful child of Queen and Country, will do all I can to help you." Her eyes wandered to the empty throne, and she sensed a tale behind it, and feared it was a sorrowful one. "My Queen makes no brazen declaration of alliances beyond her oldest friends and the closest of her family. It's a policy that has served her well. Still, a friend is a friend, even though there are no parades to announce the strength of the friendship." -She drew herself up and regarded the king and her new companions with a bright, open smile. "Though mine is the combat of elegence and no armour, all I can do is at your disposal, friends! My blade and bow are yours!" -Her mother would approve, she knew, though she disliked being told this by a stranger, which made her a little suspicious of the king. He seemed to have leaned in and told each person something personal. Was he a king at war desperate for allies, or was it something more?
-Hopefully, she wouldn't die in the fight, though you never could be sure. Still, she was meeting some interesting people, including a paladin! Perhaps this one would be less stiff and self-righteous, and would answer her questions about holy magic- she certainly seemed much more lighthearted, almost frivolous. An assassin, a dangerous one to be sure. The Grand Champion. An unknown elf. And no doubt the most important of these new people. A Von Eyre, of course! She eyed Baron interestedly; he would difficult to win over, if rumour was to be believed, but she would try to befriend him nonetheless-if he stayed. -"So," she said, her soft accent conveying her happiness, glancing around at the travellers, "as I said, I am Caterina, of Castillunia, adopted daughter of Queen Isabella, and it is a pleasure to meet you all." She curtseyed gracefully again.

Barnabas stood before everyone and bowed "I am Barnabas of the Faladin woods and I can tell you all are suspicious of me but have no fear we assassins have a rule and that is never leave a friend behind and since you all shall be working with me you shall be treated as friends, not foes." He then looked at Nathan. He seemed like one who would not mind getting his hands dirty if necessary but only if push comes to shove. The Baron however he had a burning hatred for, the air of him stank like poison to Barnabas. Eliana, Caterina and Kaane was it? they all seemed like good people with noble intents.
He made a mental note to keep an eye on the Baron because he seemed, a bit shifty to Barnabas
