As the crimson curtains rose, the stage expanded and transformed. It turned into the streets of Morrowind that Phiounuse had lived on with her sister when she was very small. Phiounuse felt her own body transform to that of when she was younger, matching the age she had been when living on the streets. She recognised the details, the hovel they lived in, the rags they wore, the biting cold of Morrowind's winter months. Everything was in place the way it was on that day. Except for where the simulated environment morphed into the theatre revealing the seated demonic audience watching her and the demon narrator standing next to her. The little Phiounuse was holding a medallion, the medallion she wears to this day. Khajiiti writing engraved onto it. her sister, Rose, was standing next to her, looking curiously with her at the jewel. The narrator began in a clear and charismatic voice. "This is the tale of The Betrayal of Rose. A tale of sisterly love corrupted by greed and cowardice! It begins on the streets of Morrowind, where two young Khajiits, Rose and Phiounuse, have purchased an item from a mysterious vendor who claimed it to be magic. Oh-ho-ho, but the Khajiit sisters have yet to realise how magical this trinket is. Here, Rose and Phiounuse try to make a wish for a better living. Will it come true? Find out now..." Rose, on cue, approached the young Phiounuse. "Make a wish, little sister! Wish for us to live as grandly as the Dunmer of the royal houses! Go on!"
---Kyle cracked it---
Each strike dug into Kyle's flesh but he felt no pain and there was no bleeding. The crowd booed at Kyle and berated his discovery with distaste. The wounds on Kyle body healed as quickly as he could inflict them, but the body of Kyle's reflection remained in a brutally maimed state and bled heavily. But dead, it wasn't. The lights shut off again. In darkness, the attacker dragged itself towards Kyle. Over the sand and metal grate before latching onto his foot. It couldn't quite attack, but gripped tightly like a chain not letting go. It clawed deeply into Kyle's flesh as the crowd of demons whooped and whistled, but were suddenly cut off when the light came on. The only damaged that was managed by whatever phantom was attacking Kyle were some lacerations on his right ankle. It was weak now, and it was time to finish it.
---somethingsomething---
Chops turned to Facion, now walking backwards. "Good that you are straight to the point. You see..." And so, Chops gave a brief of their mission. Well summarised without missing the essential details to give the new recruits a good idea of what they are about to entail, who their enemy is, and how to stop and what to do if they can't. (OOC: Just read the original briefing on page 4. It's the third post down. Sorry, but I ain't typing out THAT again in new words.) "I should also say that because we weren't expecting you that there is a limit on beds. You'll have to share beds with the present recruits or sleep in the infirmary beds or whatever available surface you deem most comfortable."

Phiounuse was frozen, staring at the audience, their eyes all seemed to look into her very being. "I-I," Phiounuse managed, "I wish for us to l-live greatly i-in the- I w-wish-" As the memories came flooding back to her, Phiounuse put her paw on her head. A pounding headache grew more and more intense with each passing second. "I wish for u-us t-to live gra-grandly as the royal D-Dunmers do," the small Khajiit managed out, looking at the medallion.

Kyle then looked at his legs to see the damage to them, he didn't see what it was, but whatever it was had sharp claws. He then pulled out his bow gun and then aimed at his own head and pulled the trigger, he then waited for his prize.

"Zis is not problem. Ze infirmary sounds quite ideal." Maller Addy used two fingers to push his square-rimmed glasses up the bridge of his nose, a sheen of light preventing them from being seen through. "Especially if zey vould be...occupied?" He let a small grin through his lips, as his arms folded across his chest.

Elrias blinked, and looked over her shoulder at the giant dog who snuffed at that. He was keeping close by. The girl raised a hand to scratch its jaw softly while it walked with its head over her shoulder, keeping in pace with her. "Um... Sorry to ask, but..." She started, resting her thumb against her bottom lip, "Do we contact you, or someone else if we have questions?" Her smile still showing as her pointed ears tilted down some, she muttered in a soft aside to the dog following her, "Don't worry, Drake. I'm sure it's fine if I share with someone."

Facion's head tilted, his vastness seemed to shimmer. "I do not require a bed. Or sleep." He said simply, but shrugged away the small confusion he felt. He listened to the orders and nodded. A woman asked a question next to him. He nudged her, and by nudged, he nearly made her fall over. She had horns, and very tan skin. Her hair was an odd colour.
"Do you sleep?" He asked as they walked. He seemed genuinely curious. Facion didn't have much contact with other races before this, except for the rare contact of his solid fist on some crook on a random planet's face.

The medallion resting in Phiounuse's paws glowed and shot a bright beam of white light to the sky. Rose stepped back and watched in amazement. But Phiounuse didn't feel the same wonderment she experienced on the initial instance that had occurred years ago, this originally enchanting scene dulled from what is was first-hand in her mind as she knew what was to come after. The glowing stopped and the beam of light was cut off. There was a pause. "What!? We spent all the money we worked hard for on that!" Huffed Rose, sighing before placing a paw on Phiounuse. "Come on, sister. Lets just go to bed." Rose retired to the hovel as the narrator uttered its lines to the captive audience. "Disappointed, Rose and her sister turned in for the night. Unaware still of the magical potential of the mysterious medallion, and what it meant for them..."
---Kyle's prize---
The arrow sprang from the bow-gun and cleaved into Kyle's skull cavity. The arrow was pushed out by the healing granted by the bizarre rules of the game. The audience of demons booed loudly and began to exit the arena, one threw its hat in disgust at the winner which missed and rolled on the floor. Kyle had won, and was to receive what was coming to him. The grand mirror shattered, revealing the other half of the arena and the being behind it. It was not of the demonic appearance the audience or the clown had, or from Kyle could see at least as it wore a huge authoritative black coat that swept wraithfully the floor of the arena and a peaked cap symbolising further authority atop its sunken in head. It was an entity that was painful to look at, doing so sprang a headache inside of Kyle and his vision of it blurred every time he did. Its white slitted eyes of an angry angle could be felt bearing down onto Kyle. "Congratulations." It said, in the booming voice that first met Kyle in this realm. "For your prize, you get to choose. A clown from my Clown Corps which you can summon to join your battles, though only temporarily. Or you can have what's inside...the mystery box. Choose."
---Chops answers---
Chops quickly caught Elrias's hand just as she was to fall to her knees. Helping her up again, the machine answered her query she had asked. "You can ask me anything you want. You can also ask Roo, The Scientist, any question you have. The little contraption enjoys to teach." Chops then turned to answer Facion. "I do not sleep in the way most would interpret sleep. As I have a negligible need to. However, I can meditate of a sorts. And run routines while in an unconscious state."

Kyle took a couple of minutes to think about what he wanted. Finally, Kyle made his decision and said,"I'll take the mysteries box, and yes that is my final answer." Kyle then a waited to see what was in the box.

Facion's carbon skin crackled to look confused. " I was talking to the one you caught. You are like me..." Facion paused. " Not flesh."

The wraithful figure produced a small black box laden with white question marks on its surface. The lid flew off, and the box tilted as to let Kyle see inside. From it, leaped out the black liquid that had transported Kyle to this dimension. It swallowed him, and once it had descended again, Kyle was back in his room. He felt he was holding something in his right hand. It was light, but still had a certain weight to. The material felt like metal, cold and with grippy markings engraved into it. Kyle also felt that his fingers were threaded through ergonomic rings attached to the handle. Looking down at the object, Kyle saw a silver blade of about eight inches. It was sharp along one edge, serrated along the other, and had a curved tip pointing away from the sharpened edge. A blunt knuckle-duster of a metal darker than that of the blade was part of the handle. A teething grin was engraved into both sides of the blade, and an eye looking straight at Kyle was positioned just above the hilt. The knife seemed to breathe in, and from the mouth, it spoke. "I am the standard issue trench knife of The General's army. I cut, bludgeon, stab, slice, stab, rip, tear, stab, saw, stab, stab, shred and stab. You and I are gonna make great kill-buddies."

Kyle's eyes then suddenly turned a light red. He then said,"Indeed, we will make great kill-buddies, you like to stab and all that stuff which means you like the taste of blood like me?" Kyle questioned his new found demonic weapon as he held it up to his face so they could speak eye to eye.

Taika followed behind the group of 'recruits' although she was one as well, she kept just far away from the group for her no to hear them, but still be able to keep up. These people, they looked, 'different' to the people of her universe, although she could understand how they would, she still wondered why she had been recruited, although the timing could have been better, as she was just on a 'job' when this Chops person came for her. She just stayed behind, following the group to where ever they were going.

Elrias, startled by the sudden shove, she looked up at Chops with a timid expression, regaining her footing and taking her hand away with a 'sorry'. She rubbed her hand and quickly reached up to grip a fistful of Drake's neck-fur when he turned and growled at Facion. "Ah... I sleep, yeah. Usually cuddle with Drake. He's like a portable bed." She smiled a little, still wary of Facion. If he tried to nudge her again, she'd be sure to either dodge out of the way, or be ready to catch herself. Drake seemed to smile, eyes narrowing, black lips pulling back over his sharp teeth only slightly, not enough to be counted as threatening. Needless to say, a 6-foot-something tall dog was threatening on its own. The dog followed close to Elrias, eyes trained on each of the... 'men' in turn, sure to watch them for anything suspicious.

Darach wondered along with the group, infatuated with a small, blue cube in his hand, or at least near his hands. He was trying to mould it into... something, but it just wouldn't stick, in the end he just gave up and it disappeared. He was distracted by the commotion occurring next to him, he turned to look at the girl 'Are you okay? That's a beautiful dog you have. My names darach, what's yours? '

Blade opened his eyes, and slowly drifted back down to the ground. He sat there for a moment, thinking about his next course of action. He decided it was time for him to head back to his room, and so he did!
The door opened, and Blade walked in. He noticed the TV on the wall, and decided to see what Chops was talking about earlier. He looked for the remote, and after finding it, turned on the TV.
