-Kazuma drew his blade and slashed forward, killing one man, but keeping his body in a fit state for burial. 'Why must you preserve these men. They have done nothing good for you. A true warrior would kill them swiftly, so they would not have to suffer the pain of defeat long.' Fall said, slowly slipping into Kazuma's body. The dark aura appeared around Kazuma, and his eye flared gold. His katana had turned into a huge broadsword with a black hilt and a purple jewel in the direct center of the guard. 'I don't like it, but do as you will.' Kazuma sighed. Fall now fought, using Kazuma's body, with renewed vigor, and even some joy in finally being in a real fight again. He ran forward and sliced straight through one man's armor, completely severing him in half. A laugh escaped Fall's lips as he felt the satisfaction of drawing blood again. He turned quickly and held out his hand. Suddenly, a bolt of lightning shot from his palm and slammed into a man's chest, frying his heart out in seconds. Fall quickly slashed through another man and called forth a bolt of lightning, hitting another in the head, destroying his brain, and causing him to spasm uncontrollably. "I grow tired of such easy foes." Fall said as he raised his hand up to the sky. Suddenly, 5 strikes of lightning rained down and slammed into a small patch of the men. One had tried to run, but the bolt still hit his leg, sending the electricity streaming through his armor. He screamed in pain and tried to crawl away, his legs not working. Fall walked over, standing over him. The man pleaded with him "No, no, don't kill me! No!!!" As he collapsed into tears, Fall knelt down. "You have given up, why would I kill you?" He said, and slamming the hilt of his sword into the side of the man's head, knocking him out cold. "Rest, and be able to find your courage another day." Fall said, getting up and moving on.

James watched his team go through these men and was proud, 'Old bastard knows how to pick 'em, but I can't let them show me up.' James put on a smirk as he saw a group of fifteen men staring him down, "Oh I'm sorry were you waiting for me? Man! I was enjoying the show, can this wait?" James asked as one took a shot at him. James dodged the bullet and glared at the guy who had shot, "A simple no would have been just peachy." Before the men could react James was directly in front of them. He slammed his fist into one's stomach and sent him flying through a tree, killing him on impact. He then leapt up onto one's shoulder. He had one leg on each ide of the man's head with his feet behind, and with a quick twist of both legs, snapped his neck like a twig. He then backflipped off, and in one swift motion, kicked the man he had just been on into another man. The force killed the other man instantly, "Three down," James said as he put on a cocky grin and made a 'bring it on' motion with his right hand. Three charged him immediately with their fists, abandoning their guns as it did them no good. The first was met with a swift kick to the jaw, breaking it and killing him. The second was met with a punch to the gut. He vomited from the force of impact, and then felt a boot on the back of his neck, breaking it and killing him. The third and final one to charge him threw a right, then a left, then another right, but was unable to touch James. He threw one final haymaker, that was caught by James. A cracking could be heard as James squeezed the man's hand. James then raised his hand in the air and chopped the man's throat, breaking his neck as well. While he had been distracted the rest of the men had surrounded him, "Oh does this mean I'm the center of attention? I'm honored," James said as he stood there. Right as the men were about to act James spun around in under an instant. They all froze thier before their heads started falling off one by one, until all were decapitated. James the looked around and counted the bodies, "...thirteen, fourteen," James then turned to the remaining man, who stood there staring at James. Without saying a word James raised his arm over his head and brought it down. A gust of wind shot at the man, slicing him in half vertically, "Fifteen," James said with a smirk as the man fell into two halves.

Critias watched as the men around him slew the soldiers. 'Damn, what kind of company did I fall into? Better hope they're on my side, I don't know if I could beat ALL of them...' he thought as he cleaved a mans scull in two. He spun in the air, propeled by his black feathered wings strength, he twirled his blade in his left hand and diced the soldiers surrounding him with the kind of skill that more than five thousand years of training gives you. He lunged forward, sliding his Star Shine sword into the chest of a man as though it were butter. He flicked the blade skyward, sending the man on the tip of it flying into the open air. He landed 50 feet away, broken. Critias's ear picked up the sound of bullets flying through the air. He turned and quickly sliced the bullets out of the air, showing a speed that was unbelievable. "At least present a challenge." Critias said. He looked around. All the other men who had come to his aid had stopped fighting. Two more soldiers joined the first, and aimed their guns. 'Time to impress,' Critias thought. He stabbed his sword into the ground, and left it there. He waved his hand as if to say "Come get me". The men fired at Critias. He moved so quickly, that he slapped the bullets out of the air as the sped towards him. Critias then lept forwards at the three soldiers. He grabbed ones gun, spun around, and knocked him to his face with his left wing. Critias then backhanded the soldier in the middle so hard it crushed his helmet in on itself, he fell to the ground and did not move. Critias then turned to the last man. "Give up?" Critias asked sweetly. "Die, scum." Said the soldier, who extended his fist-blade. Critias was too quick for that. He grabbed the man by the scull and hit him in the chest once, which dented his armour. "How bout now?" Critias asked again. The soldier's only responds was to punch Critias in the kidneys. Critias's eyes flared red in pain, and before he knew what happend, the spark of rage that ignited turned into a power Critias didn't know he had. A pure blast of energy shot out of Critias's left hand, the hand holding the man's head. Critias looked down in shock at the gaping hole the lightning bold left in the mans forhead. "Oh. Well bloody hell. Didn't know I could do that." Critias said simply. He walked back to grab his sword, Tendril, and just then really took a look at the men who were standing before him, watching him. "Hullo, there." he said to the group.

James smiled as the man walked towards him, "Hey there. The name's James, Captain James M. Wanderer," James said as he offered his hand to the man.

Critias looked at the offered hand and frowned slightly. "I'm Critas Selethos, I am no enemy to people who help me as you did." His wings flared to their full 18 foot span, and he smiled slightly. "But I really, really dont like to touch people." He said, nodding towards the hand, eyes flashed red for a half-second, then went back to the steel-grey.

James nodded, "I'll respect your space, but I have to ask what you're doing out here. Someone with abilities like what you just did would have caught the eye of the TSC," James said as he took a more casual tone and stance.

Critas tilted his head and smiled. "Abilities like mine? Youngling, You havent seen anything." Critias tossed his sword from his left hand, back to his right. "I'm not even left handed, yet I still won." "But, I am here because my planet was just destroyed by ships the like of which I have never seen before. I tried to escape, and was shot down as I was passing this planets gavity well. And as for this 'TSC', I've never heard of it." Critias thought of something. He had no where to go, after this. "But you have done me a great service, helping me with those men. I'd be ashamed if I didn't do something to help you in return." Critias said, as he retracted his wings into his back.

James looked at Critas a bit strangely, "You've NEVER heard of the TSC? That's strange... Dad will want to hear about this," James said. He then thought for a moment before speaking again, "You wouldn't mind joining us would you? Someone like you would fit right in. So what do you say? Want to join us for a bit?"

Critias smiled wickedly. 'At least I have somewhere to go now.' He thought. "Sure. At least until I get bored." He said, and sheathed his beautiful sword. "I'll be something to do with the next hundered years or so, until you're all dead." He said cheerily. He obviously ment it in a kind way.

Seeing as how the battle had come to a conclusion Valen thought it would be good idea to come meet this stranger. He made his way down from the hill he had climbed up form and sprinted down over to them. Valen had overheard most of the converstion between Critias and James. ‘Great, an omnipotent figure. Hopefully he won’t be as egotistic as one would expect him to.’ Valen approached them and gazed at Critias, scrutinizing his every detail in that moment. Subsequently, he greeted Critias with, “Pleasure to meet you. I’m Valen Rilden. Nice to make your acquaintance.”

"I'd hate to cut this short, but we need to get a move on before more people show up. Let head back." James said as he led his team back through the jungle.
"Good to be back!" James said as he flopped down on the couch in the hotel room. He then began scanning channels before settling on a local fighting tournament, "I guess we just hang around here until tomorrow morning. Think of this as a vacation!" James said in a cheerful voice to the rest of his team.

-Miles made his way into the hotel building, having dusted himself off from the fight and taking a moment to observe the group as a whole. *Not exactly a precise tool of destruction yet...* He though softly. *Perhaps these beings will be just what I need...* He chuckled softly for a moment, before turning to the newest arrival, curiously, yet keeping his face straight. *In all my travels I have not encountered a being such as him...how curious.* He pondered *Those abilities he displayed were certainly mortal, nor were they of the Captain's race... I shall be sure to keep my eye on this one.* Miles considered before approaching Critias. "I am tempted to ask you more about those soldiers that were chasing you done...and more importantly why." He began, crossing his arms across his chest. "Though I have seen your abilities with my own eyes, a warrior you are." He nodded simply to him. "I will continue to watch you, however, so please do ensure you do not slip up." Miles smiled a bit, at least to himself, hidden beneath the mask.

Mitsuro, a bit tired from the previous fight, plopped down on a couch in the room, "Well, I used up a lot of vapor," everyone looked at him strangely, "Water vapor is my life source, so when I use it, it weakens me." The others, still not understanding Mitsuro completely, looked away and found their own things to do. Mitsuro looked at James, "You sure as hell know how to handle your self captain," he said, letting his head hand off the edge of the arm, "How did you arise to this leadership?"

James turned to him and smiled, "Now THERE'S a story! Do you want the whole thing, or why I was chosen for this mission in particular?" James asked with a hint of excitement in his voice.

Mitsuro slightly raised his eyebrow, "Go ahead with the whole story," Mitsuro said, siting up to look at James.
