Nothing amazing happens here. Everything is ordinary. The huge factory that can be seen from our town, the Medical Mechanica Plant, all the adults got excited when it came here, like it was really a big thing. The white steam that billows out every day at the same time, it looked to me like smoke that signified some kind of omen. Smoke that spreads out and covers everything.

This was easily one of the weirdest ones I've ever seen, funniest part? It wasn't even 10 episodes long I don't believe, not because it was canceled I think but because whatever the message this anime wanted to get across it did in the shortest number of cosplay-filled innuendo ridden, epic mech battling out episodes possible

I think it was about five episodes... I watched it, long time ago, may have been the start on my road to corruption B| It was interesting, at least... from what I remember anyways.

This was one weird anime I've seen but it was also one the best imo. I think it got canceled because in episode 4 or 5 it showed the Nazi sign... or maybe not.

Well the Nazi symbol is a bent, crocked cross. But there's a similar symbol in the orient, but bent in a different direction. Basically, it's a Buddhist symbol of sorts, and is often mistaken for the Nazi symbol. First I've heard of FLCL being canceled for any reason. And yes, it was weird, but somehow pulled off quite nicely. I think for me it's mostly the nostalgia factor
