In addition to bringing back customization for weapons, Bioware has tweaked the combat system to be significantly faster paced, weapons giving a greater punch. In addition to greater pace, melee combat seems to be more defined, each combat class having a 'signature move to wipe foo's. This time round the range of squadmates is much smaller, you only having the surviving members of the original Normandy along with James Vega, the FNG.
Thoughts?

Yeah, I'm interested, and will surely pick it up at some time, but it's not really a game that I'm really excited for.

According to something I read on the internet the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 uses the same engine as Mass Effect 3. When I played the demo combat did indeed feel faster paced and more fluid. Also, HOLY SHIT WHEN DID ASHLEY GET HOT??!!?!?
