A decent anime in my humble opinion. A bit unique as well, comprised of twelve 40 minute episodes. As long as they are, the episodes do have moments where the characters are simply driveling and I wanted it to stop. The art took a while to grow on me. While very simplistic I found it childish yet quaint. The actions scenes are quite dynamic at times and plot is decent, but a bit far-fetched. The basic gist is that the Yasuri family is exiled to an uninhibited island prior to the events of the first episode. Togame, a strategist for the shogunate, asks head of the Yasuri household, Shichika, to embark on a journey to collect the 12 deviant blades crafted by master sword smith Kiki Shikizaki.

Also, something that's stumped me. For those who've seen it...
*spoiler*
When Togame died and started spouting stuff about how she used Shichika and her emotions and all that, and planned on killing him after the blades were collected, was it just me or did it seem like an act to get him to hate her so he could cope with her death or something? Just a weird feeling I get, I dunno. Kinda feels like she putting on an act. Was it just me? Also, by the time you find an answer, you'll have already been torn to pieces.

One of the worst animes I've seen. B|
Given, I haven't really seen many bad animes, but my point still stands. V|
