All I've heard about this show is that it has something to do with a nice boat.

Everyone who hasn't watched this show does not have a good enough excuse.
It's dull, fan-servicey and predictable to the extreme for the first two thirds.
Then, all of a sudden Kotonoha starts eyeing up her kitchen knives and you know shit is about to get real. Itou Makoto goes from the usual dopey eyed hero winning the heart of every girl he meets to an unfeeling almost sadistic nympho. There are serious threats passing between the girls of the harem and one scene that is practically rape by a character with the hots for a girl who's mad for Makoto.

Though I knew there was only one way this show could reach a satisfying conclusion it still shocked all the hell out of me when Sekai finally snapped. Not to mention the fact that Kotonoha had that dead eyed look already, it was only a matter of time before she decapitated her boyfrined and... um... did stuff with it.

All in all, fucking awesome ending. But you have to watch the entire anime to really have it hit you like it's meant to. Honestly, I should play the game, I find it hard to believe that a porn game could have an ending so brilliant it's parodied through Rucky Star.

I tried playing hte game, but my english patch sort of stops half way through, and since it's not like I was playing it for the pronz I just randomly clicked through everything. I think Kotonoha killed herself at the end of mine. No idea what bloody happened though.

It took me an hour of messing about to get it to install & successfully patched & i cant bloody start the thing

Lastest patch does up to episode 3 & theres about 5 in total? I just want to get involved with Setsuna.... & Kokoro just to see how Kotonoha feels about it

Wow..... what a build up.
Not sure if anyone agrees with me, but I can't help but feel Makoto didn't deserve what he got. He certainly deserved some swift retribution, but damn. Also, can't put all the blame on him. *mumbles* Dumb broads.
It is a bit morbid how that 'boat' joke came to be. Just sayin'.

@cirno Just curious but when you play School Days do you have to change your system locale to get it to work?
I have got but to play it I have got to change my system locale to Japan
At the min I have got english patch up to ep 3 and I have got 2 saves:
One of Sekai and One of Kotonoa

vyseelric The nice boat thing is because on the day that the last episode was supposed to be aired some , a sixteen-year-old girl killed her father with an axe in Kyoto so to insure that no action or criticism would be placed on them they changed the episode to scenery and classical music

Its best to i read on the Sekai forums

I didnt have to on XP (i had a lot of language packs added by default as it was a heavily modded version of SP3) & i've yet to reinstall it on W7 yet as i'm waiting for the US release
