Then there's the Killswitch Engage version. I honestly don't see what people have against that cover- it's pretty bitchen. Sure there are some parts of it that are just ruined by awful experimentation, but I'm hard pressed to find a song I consider "perfect" outside of "Twilight" by Electric Light Orchestra.

I also liked Five Finger Death Punch's version of Bad Company, I like the chorus better, but the original I like the singing better, I guess people just don't like covers.

I get why people don't like covers most of the time- people seem to be bad at it. There was one addict I used to work with a while ago. It's a shame the drugs got to him because even though he was about half stupid, he still showed signs of intelligent thought which I found inspiring. Anyway, he once told me the reason he liked covers so much: it's the person doing the cover's take on the song. Not necessarily them trying to IMITATE the original song, rather their INTERPRETATION of it. I thought it was quite eloquently spoken of him.
