Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Commander Fallout, perhaps you’ve heard of me? You have been selected to carry out a mission on the planet Karnos. A transport ship will be there shortly to carry you there. Once you arrive you will be greeted by a Captain selected personally by me. You are to do as he says. Good luck, and welcome to the TSC!
That’s right! It’s finally here! My RP, Tales of the Specters! Your character will be sent across the galaxy to accomplish several missions provided to you by Commander Fallout. The locations will range from a bustling city, to a primitive fantasy planet, and maybe even a pirate ship or two! Now before we get started there are a few rules.
Rule #1: THERE IS NO RULE NUMBER 1!!! IF YOU ASK ABOUT IT YOU WILL BE SMACKED WITH A RUBER CHICKEN!!!
Rule #2: The TSC has a very comprehensive lore, and make sure you clear anything with me before you make your character, so we can be sure to avoid conflicts.
Rule #3: Your character can be anything you want it to be. You want an orc mage? Fine. You want a demon? That’s cool. BUT, if you are going to make a character involving an existing character that you do not control then discuss it with me first. One final thing about characters. They can’t be OP. That may sound strange coming from me, but your character will get stronger as the story progresses.
Rule #4: There will be a three strikes system. Every time your character does something stupid a strike will be taken away. Lose all of your strikes and you will either die, or be injured and taken out of the RP. You can get new strikes by impressing me in some way, or have a new one refilled every few chapters.
Rule #5: Most importantly have fun! If you want to have a side quest on your own while nothing is happening then that’s fine. Just make sure you clear it with me first. The order of posting will vary based on the circumstances.
Now that those are out of the way I’ll give you an example on what your character sheet should look like
Name: Enter your name here Age: However old the person is Race: If you want to make a custom race talk to me and I’ll help Abilities: Give your character some nice things to get them started! Maybe basic telekinesis, or extra strength and agility, but remember, no OP. Reason why you were selected: For plot reasons you need to explain exactly why you were selected to go on this mission. If you need help I’ll talk with you in private over Skype. Backstory: Tell a little bit about your character! Where are they from? Are there any events that led to where they are. Again if you need help consult me. Personality: Explain how they act. Are they an asshole? Are they naive and cute? EXPLAIN!!!!
Well that’s pretty much it. Feel free to post any questions along with your character. Later doods!
OH YEA!!! One last thing. For those of you that have an existing OP character they can join! BUT they won't be with the main team. Message me on Skype for more details.

Name: Cleptsii Solamnia Age: Unknown Race: Krynnian Abilities: Really fast and agile, able to run many miles before even getting tired. His strength is a little above average for his race, so he can hold his own with any Thunderfist operative. He fights with Krynnian technology, using a giant blade that has lasers on the edge to fight and using handguns to SMG's. He also has daggers that are of the same craft as his sword and the blade can cut through almost any material, though it's not as strong as adamantium. He wears specially made Krynnian armor that heavily protects while giving the wearer free movement. Reason: The Krynnians are the newest race to join the TSC. Cleptsii is their finest warrior, and has been selected to represent his race on this mission. Backstory: Cleptsii was thrown into combat school the day he was born, as most Krynnians are. He excelled in the physical aspects, but preferred to leave the thinking work to the strategists. He graduated and was on his way to join one of the top groups of their military, but then their race met the TSC. After a meeting between the Krynnian leaders and the TSC leaders, the Krynnians decided that it would be in their best interest to join them. Personality: He's the type of person to laugh and drink heavily, being the life of the party. He's very serious when it comes to combat, but doesn't really care about anything else. He lives for bloodshed, and is euphoric whenever there's a possibility to wet his blade. Some would say he's a bloodthirsty maniac, and they'd probably be right, but once they see him in battle all their doubts wash away. Appearance: Onto #2 Name: Kazuma Magari Age: 18 Race: Human Abilities: On his own, he's like any normal high school student, but hiding within him is the power to call forth a very powerful being he likes to call his "Persona". This being, known as "Fall", can manifest outside of Kazuma's body and can briefly interact with the normal world. This being also gives him the ability to use magic. Main weapon is a Japanese-style sword that curves to a point at the end, is about 3 fingers wide, and has an ornate guard surrounding the base of the blde. The handle allows for easy grip with either 1 or 2 hands. Reason: Kazuma was training on an island that his teacher had told him to stay on for a whole month when some very strange things started happening. One day, a strange man appeared from the bushes, calling himself 'Isaac'. The two men quickkly bonded and when Isaac returned back to the ship, he told Fallout what had happened. Fallout thought that Kazuma would make a good addition to the team and picked him up off the island to meet him and ask him to join. Backstory: *Will be written later and posted onto the forums for all to see. It may be a while, though* Personality: Very gentle nature, and very quiet. He'd do anything for his friends, and would defend them until the very end. Appearance: Guess I should include Fall as well Name: Fall Age: Unknown Race: Unknown Abilities: Can overtake Kazuma's body in times of peril, giving him increased speed, agility, strength, and magic. Can also manifest in real life and interact with objects. Carries a massive sword, easily an arm and a half wide, but still wields it with only one hand. It has an ornate black handle with a dark purple jewel in the center of the hilt. Reason: Goes everywhere Kazuma goes Backstory: *Will be included in Kazuma's* Personality: Very stoic. Won't speak to anyone other than Kazuma or an enemy. Has a very distinct "warrior's pride".

Name: Fervens miles militis (Goes by Miles since most can’t pronounce his name)
Class/Race: Spectral Warrior
Age: Unkown, far from human.
Abilities: He has a range of powerful abilities, his main weapon, however, is an energy blade he can summon to form on any surface, though prefers to use the sword hilt he carries around with him. Along with this, Miles is exceptionally fast and strong, compared to most at least. Other then his attack abilities, Miles levitates instead of walking, though he can obviously walk. Miles can fly, though not at high speeds unless he is concentrates energy into it. His body slowly reassembles itself, though not close enough to heal damage during battle.
Appearance: Miles appears to wear some sort of templar armor, a yellowish fit that leaves his shoulders high as well as a ‘helmet’ he also wears leaving holy solid blue eyes, no pupils or other obvious human features are clear, other then his shape, and even then has three long fingers instead of five, same with toes. Has ‘hair’ that seems to flow out from behind his head, from the helmet a ghostly white that swishes in the air. As a being known as a specter, he does not have normal human needs, yet does still have emotion, need for nutrients, rest, etc. When he speaks, it sounds as if his voice echos within itself, powerful and commanding. It is uncertain what he really looks like, never removing the armor within sight of others.
Personality: Despite his appearance, Miles can actually be rather talkative, though not about himself. He will occasionally probe others for information about themselves, rather his own curiosity and thirst to know all. Miles will however respond hostilely to those that respond to him the same, with no qualms. Not one to trust easily, if he is fighting for a side, then there is likely a very good reason. The goal, as he sees it, of his existence is to maintain balance in the universe, warping in and out of space and planets, becoming a wanderer.
Reason: Searching for more about himself, about his people, Miles took up a request from the TSC in order to use their vast resources to assist him in his mission. And while he is at it, slay some evil, who doesn't love that?
Backstory: Long ago there was a race of sentient energy beings. They harbored great power, and used it to protect all that was good in their eyes. Such action does not earn one a great name amongst the evil of the world, and slowly, a powerful entity became aware of the Specters. One day, the Specter’s home world was attacked by the entity, whether it was a single being, or many is unsure, all that is sure is that the planet became consumed by darkness, and Miles, somehow, escaped destruction. Unsure of his own past, he continues to do what his people believed in for generations on his own. He would not admit it, but Miles does search for his people, or remains of them as it were.

Name: Valen Rilden Age: 21 Gender: Male Race: Human Skills/Abilities: Valen was born with telekinetic abilities. He is able to move various objects of relatively small sizes and then hurl them at great speeds. Valen also carries an ebony long sword. He is not a very good swordsman yet uses it at every chance he gets. He does, however, aspire to one day master the art of swordsmanship. He wears thin cotton clothes which make up the only form of "armor" he has. Appearance: Personality: Valen wishes to live a carefree life. He hopes to one day possess wealth and power. Even though he has the aspirations for greatness he doesn't wish to put much effort for it. Valen continually searches for shortcuts to reach the top ignoring any obstacles he sees. This usually ends in near catastrophic failures. Biography: Valen was born on human settlement on Earth. Having been born with those abilities he kept them a secret. At the age of 19 Valen revealed his telekinetic abilities in an effort to join the TSC. He saw it as an opportunity to see what's out there. The TSC superiors believed that he had much potential to grow. However, his carefree attidtude led to various slip ups throught assigned missions. They decided to give him one more chance, one last occasion to prove his worth. Reason why you were selected: They saw this mission as a perfect opportunity to test his reliability.

Name: Iridis Corvus Age: 24 Race: Echani Abilities: Vivacious and resilient, Iridis was trained in the Echani use of a double bladed staff in the duelling style of his homeworld. His many engagements with the scum of the galaxy have adapted what used to be an honourable fighting style into what now features a plethora of underhanded tricks, from kicking an enemy while he’s down to personal insults. All with the typical Echani grace, of course. Inherited from his mother was his dual-bladed staff, a weapon of fine make and past unbeknownst to Iridis. For longer range encounters, a heavy revolver, possessing a slew of modifications. He wears a three quarter length black coat, ribbed with the rare bluesteel native to his homeworld: a durable, yet light material that excels at repelling energy blasts. After recent events, he (with limited success) has adapted his style to use a katana and his revolver in symphony. Backstory: Raised on the chaotic, uncivilised planet of Maestitia by an exiled Echani handmaiden in the ways of the double-brand, he knew only the scrapings of a childhood. He knew nothing of his mother or his family, only the hardships of a life on the run. When he reached the age of 17, the Eloss Combine instigated a full blown coup on the TSC headquarters there. The following battles were too much for the garrison there to withstand, and they sent out a distress call to the main TSC command. They brought with them the fleet...but they were too late. Millions had fallen, thus their main duties were to provide aid to survivors. The Eloss Combine were driven from the system only to scatter about the galaxy, impossible to track down them all; a shadow of their former self. Iridis and his mother attempted to flee, but an orbital round wiped her from the face of the galaxy. He too was affected; the physical scars left him mostly blind, forcing him to embrace his other senses to compensate for this. That is not all, for the ship he escaped on sustained heavy damage when attempting to break the blockade, and he was racked with dark energy, a normally fatal experience. If anything will come of this event, time will tell. He swore to bring down the Eloss that day, but has had little success thus far- killed a few officers, enough to be hounded by assassins in their books. Reason: Impressed by his track record, the TSC has been after him for months, trying to recruit him. He continued to evade them, until a drunken encounter with Luther Vale, an undercover officer of the Eloss Combine lead to a duel...which he lost. Left for dead, his dual bladed staff taken from him and on the edge of death, he signalled the TSC shortly before passing out. He awoke 3 weeks later on the medical ship Virgil, his ego near shattered and sight robbed from him. Expressing eagerness to hunt down his prospective killer he joined the TSC for not just the experience, but for information as to the whereabouts of Luther Vale. Personality: Distrustful towards those he is unfamiliar with, cautious to let any detail about him slip for fear of appearing weak. Shows a strong bloodlust, lack of mercy towards criminals; prefers to kill, not maim. Break past his outer shell however...and you’ll find an entirely different man. Proud to be Echani and free with his emotions, he will do anything he must to ensure those close to him are unharmed. Shows a great respect for fellow duelists, enjoys testing his skills against others. Chocobo pretty much got his appearance here: markismassociation.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=fanart&thread=326&page=1#4878

Name: Mitsuro Age: 19 Abilities: Master Archer. Can evaporate into vapor for 10 seconds and move within a 50 feet radius. Can conjure up a bow called "Thunder" that he made that fires ice arrows, can manipulate water vapor. Backstory: Mitsuro himself doesn't even remember much, all he remembers is his house burning down and going off into the wilderness for five years. That is where he got these powers. He lived by the fountain of youth, but he didn't know that at the time. The power of the fountain gave him his vapor-kenisis. Personality: He is a loner, yet nice. He doesn't speak up unless addressed, or bored. He keeps to himself, but is pleasant to be around. Reason for joining: The TSC were interested in his water vapor abilities. Appearance:

Name: Sepp Age: 20 Race: Human Abilities: Skilled Sharpshooter/Marksman (pistols mainly), High Speed/Reflexes/Agility Backstory: Trained in marksmanship from a young age while living in an outer-world settlement, he was soon discovered to be a prodigy marksman. Rumors of his skill quickly spread to other settlements, and at the age of 15 he was being challenged to contests of skills which he found himself easily coming out as the victor. His reputation became strained when he was challenged to a sniping contest by a ranking officer of TSC which to the amazement of everyone Sepp easily won using only a pistol. Embarrassed, The Ranking Officer quickly accused Sepp of cheating and Threatened destruction of his Settlement. Scared of losing their home the community quick made Sepp a Pariah in hopes to save their way of life. Outcast, he went on to do mercenary work for various organizations and various causes, "offering" his skills for either monetary gain or merely to see how far his skill can take him. Reason why you were selected: The TSC discovered about the incident between Sepp and the officer 5 years ago, and when the tales of his abilities of out sniping a fully trained TSC officer with only a pistol were confirmed as true, a search was made for him as such a skill was deemed "a useful commodity" Personality: He tends to find talking to/being around other people to be a pain and ends up keeping out other peoples business. Although his speech can sometimes be considered very direct he is usually considered to be polite and well spoken, but will lose patience with "idiots" fairly quickly. He will always want to find the quickest/most efficient way to completing a mission, although when a chance to test his abilities comes about he will go out of his way to achieve his own goal. clothing (minus head/face/hair): Head/Face/Hair:

Name: Critias Selethos Age:5,676 years of age. (High age will be explained in backstory) Race: Unknown, but has a mostly human appearance. Abilities: Fabled best swordsman in the galaxy. Has been known to cut bullets in half, always carries his hand-and-a-half sword, which is made of a magic metal called Star Shine, which can only be forged in a blue dwarf star. Has untapped magic abilities, but they are still out of reach. Has extendable wings which allow flight, but he rarely uses them. Appearance: Tall. 7 foot exactly. Long white hair that goes down to his shoulders. Grey eyes that turn blood red when he goes into a rage. His facial features can only be described as 'sharp' and his body is sculpted by thousands of years of training and self abuse. Reason why selected: Wasn't. Comes carreening into story half way through and 'charms' his way into the gang. Backstory: Critias was born to the most beautiful beings imaginable, however they are un-named. And for good reason. Critias is the son of two beings who left the galaxy forever after leaving him on a planet. They didnt want to, but they had no choice. Critias's destiny had to come to pass. He was no normal person. While he looks human, he is anything but. He was raised by an Elder Warror on the planet Karah, where they showed him how to handle the sword he was found with as a baby, which he later named "Tendril". On his 30'th birthday, They gave him the 'Elixer of everlasting life' that made him ageless, to forever-more appear to be at the same age of 30. On the eve of his departure, on his 5,676th year of life, his planet was attacked by flying machines the like of which Critias had never seen, and the planet he had for so long called home was destroyed. But not before Critias stole himself one of the Dark Fleet's ships. It was a modified transport bristling with weapons. He flew it away from the place, but was followed but a few attact class ships. He was just hit by a rocket, and is about to crash outside of a city on a planet he knows nothing about. "Well bugger." He states blandly as his ship is about to hit. Personality: He doesnt like humans. He can be a bit quiet, but when you get him talking theres no stoping him. He has an air of cool, calmness. He is very honourable, but if you do something to anger him, you will regret it. (Temper directly related to strength of spells [later on]. Friend gets hurt in battle for example, his rage flips on, and shit starts exploding. Once 'Rage/Bloodlust' takes hold, its really hard to calm him out of it. Which is why he carrys a music box that must be played to calm him down. Once calmed, he is rendered stunned for a minute or two.) Also... Critias is known for his taste for raw meat. Any. Raw meat.

Name:[/b] Alleras (nicknamed 'the Sphinx' for...reasons that will become apparant if you keep reading this). Age:[/b] 22 Race:[/b] A human-like race of shapeshifters from a planet called Dorne. Dorne is a world with three cities, small towns and a wide variety of biomes. The people, even within the cities, keep to clan-like groups based on their unique knowledge and implementation of, primarily, shapeshifting. They aren't a nomadic people, nor are they 'primitive'. Imagine Renaissance-like culture and technology (sans firearms). Art and knowledge (especially the latter) were kings. Knowledge is shared freely to those who earn it. War seldom breaks out, and any disputes (often between the cities) that crop up are solved peacefully or by assassination. Abilities:[/b] Shapeshifting: A racial ability that develops with age and study. Can change into animal forms (and theoretically, plants; however, this is not recommended as plants have no easily duplicated way to think, so it's near-impossible to change back). A creature must be observed reasonably intently for the form to be gained, and to be gained permanently and perfectly, in-depth study of the creature is needed. With practice, if the individual is gifted (as Alleras, of course, is ), refinement of the shapeshifting ability can be gained, allowing subtle changes in facial features when in natural humanoid shape (such as eye-colour, but not entire other faces, see below), and addition of limbs such as wings and horns to the humanoid forms. A Dornishman cannot change into other people's shapes UNLESS the individual dedicates years to this area of study. The Faceless Men, an organisation on Dorne, are the only people who teach this ability. Forms: Humanoid with wings, snow leopard, elk, gyrfalcon, red viper, direwolf, horse. Residual Effects: Similar to the bleeding effect in AC, slight enhancements carry over to the humanoid form. The better known the form is, and the length of time spent in it contributes to the strength of these effects.. If a magical creature form, such as a dragon, is learned, then aspects of magical ability can be learned. Alleras is very fast, able to jump a bit higher than most normal people, is a little stronger, and has near-perfect balance and climbing ability (able to scale vertical, sheer cliffs, yay snow leopard!). Able to poison a person through skin-to-skin contact. Weapons: Recurve bow and a spear. Reasonably good at using them. Other: Natural (slower) regeneration, which is her motivation for seeking out her father, as she believes this is an ability she has from him. Also possesses a 'superhuman thirst for knowledge ( )' which lets her learn things at phenominal speed (and I mean phenominal). A vast, photographic memory. Reason why you were selected:[/i] Her father believed it would provide good experience, both life- and battle-. She's not yet sure if she actually wanted to go. Backstory:[/i] Okay, to keep it brief. The idylic world of Dorne was struggling against a Dornish tyrant called Tywisei, who wanted to make the people into one nation. He threatened millenia of knowledge and would've obliterated cultural identity. For the first time in centuries, he brought war to Dorne. He had made contact with unscrupulous space pirates (for want of a better word) to obtain hi-tech weaponry, and began to decimate his own people. A woman of the clan Alleras would be born to, which had remained untouched, formed connections on the inside ot Tywisei's forces, with the help of the Faceless Men. She (her name was Elia) and one of the tyrant's engineers managed to steal a ship and went to the stars to find help. There they blundered into the TSC, who agreed to help them. The war was swiftly won, and Tywisei was slain by a Faceless Man called Jaqen, also born of the Elia's clan. After some wrangling, where it was agreed the Dornish way of life would remain untouched, a new city was built to keep in touch with the high-tech expanse beyond the stars. Dorne joined the TSC, and the city was named for the commander that had come to help them- Dash. A year later, Alleras was born to Elia of the Dornish and Luke von Dash-Alleras. She grew up amongst her mother's people, and met her father properly for the first time when she was 10. Her mother, her uncle Oberyn and Jaqen the Faceless Man taught her much about the Dornish skills (though not yet the ability to change her face). Luke continued to visit, but the visits were fleeting, and many of Alleras' questions remained unanswered. At the age of 18, she was slashed across the throat by a mad giant elk, and kicked a great distance by his mighty feet into a tree, which should've broken her spine. When she awoke a day later, she was fine but for a crescent scar that stretched all the way over her throat. Knowing that her mother's people had no such ability, she went to the city of Dash and, like her mother before her, stole a ship and went to find the TSC. She joined officially at age 20, in order to explore the universe, and learn. Personality: In appearance and personality she takes after her mother more than her father. Calm, dedicated, serious and focussed. Adores learning and reads almost obsessively. She does, however, possess a biting sense of humour learned from her uncle, and is incredibly passionate. She has been known, when the occasion allows, to be surprisingly sultry and flirtatious, and possesses the typical Dornish free-spirited attitudes to love. She has her father's kind-hearted aspect, and can display his naivety, not always realising immeadiately when deception can and has been employed. Appearance:But with Luke's blue eyes and the throat scar. (For the interested, Alleras' clan lives at a strange mix of ecosystems where beautiful forested hills and a mountain range bleed into a desert. Their special areas of knowledge are spear fighting, poisoning-due to residual effect, horse riding and breeding and the snow leopard form, learned nowhere else on Dorne)

-Name: Luther McDonnell -Age: Unknown -Race: Gryphon, the harpie-like design. -Abilities: He's a heavy, best with a long or broadsword, but he can work with an axe or mace. He's not quite agile, but his strength makes up for it. He's also mastered flying. (Wings) -Backstory: He had been training in his country's army all his life as a tank, and had been in multiple wars. His parents had died of some sickness when he was fighting in the war, and he left because of it, taking their gold and any other useful belongings with him. He left the army soon after and became a mentor to those who were training at a young age and had goals of joining the army in the back of their minds. Personality: Luther is a snarky son of a bitch, and jokes whenever he can. He makes friends easily, but isn't very sensitive. He's a massive ladies' man, and somewhat of an alcoholic to boot. Which shouldn't be suprising; he is a pure Scotsman after all. -Appearance: With many battle scars. He wears this armor when journeying, slightly modified to fit his build. > -Name: Onna Silverstone -Age: Unknown -Race: Elf -Abilities: She's extremely agile, and is best with a sniper or assault rifle. She has the best aim with a sniper though. She's also brilliant at taming animals to help with a quest, but after the one use, she lets the animal go. -Backstory:She grew up in a family that was all about war. On her planet, everyone and their dog had a gun given to them at birth, and that's not an overstatement. They gave it a name, and that gun stayed with them 'til they died, and was buried with them. War was rampant, since their world was deteriorating, and she grew up tough, learning to keep emotions concealed. She left when she reached adulthood, tired of constant fighting and death of the people she knew. -Personality: She's somewhat emotionless, but when something gets to her, it really gets to her. It's tough to strike a nerve, though. Most of the emotions shown from her are mostly anger, frustration, annoyance, on that side of the spectrum. That's why it's fun to pick at her. -Appearance: Exactly like this > Luther is from a different planet than Onna, but since they both left their planets, they met on a docking bay and took to eachother, soon deciding to start roaming. Luther is from a planet called "Vaneris", a mostly forested planet where most of the inhabitants live in the tall trees, and Onna is from a barren planet called "Isol", where most of the towns have been destroyed, and majority of the inhabitants are rogue, and move around often.
