"Well then let's go get em!!" Beast yelled as he readied his miniguns.

" Something is strange here ," Trip replied, looking at the surrounding area, "Arc said that they were attacked by one of those mechs, but, I do not see any sign of an explosion, while explosives seemed to be its primary weapon."

"Man who cares? So long as we kick their ass we'll be fine." Beast said with a cocky grin.

" I wouldn't say underestimating an opponent that destroyed an entire city overnight is very smart," Trip said, "But you may think whatever you wish..." He then got closer to the Barthorn, searching through it, the driver and Arc were not inside, and it was obviously destroyed by an explosion, But, it is the only thing in the area that even hints that a battle took place there. He then stood, thinking of what he was seeing. "Our enemies seemed to have caught us in an ambush," He then said, " They moved the Barthorn from its original location..."
As he finished that he looked to the top of the buildings surrounding the squad, quietly asking himself, "But why haven't they attacked yet?"

Blade stayed silent and drew his katana, "I'LL GIVE EM A REASON TO! EAT THIS YOU CAMPING BITCHES!!" Beast yelled as he unloaded into the nearby buildings.

Trip looked around, expecting a response. But the air of the zone remained still. Once the echo of Beast's miniguns ended it became silent. The silence was soon broken by Trip doubtfully saying, " I hope I was not mistaken, it would be a shame to mess up on my first assignment." He then began to turn towards Beast and Blade, but, before he was able to finish he was launched into the air ,flying several blocks before crashing into the side of a building. His attacker moved so fast it would have been almost impossible to see him before he had disappeared again.

"LOOK AT THAT SHIT!!!" Beast said as he ran to make sure Trip was alright. Blade used enhanced senses to spot the attacker, but even he had a hard time keeping up with it. He then dashed at it with blinding speed and let out a ferocious slash.

The creature blocked the slash with a large blade, which seemed to be growing out of its right arm. It then looked Blade in the face. Its eyes opened wide, brightly glowing a strange blue color, it then made a strange squeaking sound from what seemed to be its mouth, which looked more like a spiraling vortex of sharp blades. Less than two seconds after it began the sound ,two more of the creatures appeared behind Blade, they readied the blades growing out of their arms to attack him...

Meanwhile, where Trip crashed, Trip got up and looked around, seeing Beast running to wards him, he signaled that he was ok and said, " Whatever the hell just hit me... It was very fast."

Blade grunted as he flew up and away from the three. He then used his energy blasts to fire upon them.

"Man we gotta get back and help Blade!" Beast said as he helped up Trip.

Trip looked behind his back, seeing two more of the things standing behind him and Beast, as if allowing themselves to be seen before they began to fight. He then said, " I'll hold off these two, you help your friend."

Meanwhile, at the battle between blade and the creatures, the three creatures jumped after Blade, in less than a second two of them were beside Blade and the other was on a building behind him. The two beside him swing their blades simultaneously.

Blade blocked the first strike with his katana, but the other one was closing in. He reached and pulled out another shorter katana, only about three feet in length, to block the other one.

Beast saw what was going on, "OH FUCK NO YOU DON'T!!" Beast said as he fired his miniguns at the two that were locked up with Blade. Blade saw it coming in the nick of time as he flew away from the two he was locked up with. He then flew at blinding speeds towards the one on the roof.

One of the creatures saw the attack coming and followed Blade onto the roof. But the other was oblivious and was shot down, which showed that these things may be hard to hit, but they can't take a hit. The creature on the roof waited for Blade to come, as if it expected this to happen. The one that followed him closed in and attempted to slash him again.

Meanwhile, Trip had a stare down with two of the things, he attempted to trap them in zero gravity, but they seemed to be standing right outside of his attack range. He then said to them, " You were watching us fight before, weren't you?" they replied with a loud squeaking noise. "You obviously must have, you know the range of my powers, and you happened to clear out anything I could use to throw at you from the area... Quite smart, considering I barely did anything in that battle..." He said to them, even though he had already figured out that they most likely don't understand him, "Well what do you plan to do know, stare me to death?"

Blade didn't see the slash coming and was knocked away, "OH HELL NAW!!" Beast said as he fired missiles at the two things. Blade stood up slowly as he saw the missiles flying at him. He sighed at his friend's recklessness and took to the sky to avoid the missiles.

The creature that was waiting on the roof, which seemed to be the leader of the group that is attacking the sqaud, grabbed the other one and threw him at Beast. It then waited for the missiles to appear and punched them with its blade. The missles exploded, but the creature appeared to be undamaged. The one that was thrown to Beast readied its blade and slashed at him.

Trip continued his stare off with the two other creatures, he had already figured out that they were just distracting him from the others while they battle Beast and Blade.

Beast blocked the attack with one of his miniguns and launched a vicious punch with his other hand.

Blade saw that the leader was distracted and charged up a fearsome energy blast. He then unleashed it right at the thing.
