Xeir ignored Kain and Syphril's council, but accepted their offers to help. He wanted blood. "We shall go tonight! And we'll take a battalion... we'll go in through the sewers." Terra was nodding with vigour. "Yes! We will go and crush that foul king! Tonight! I shall come too! And Ken!"
Ken tried to shake his head but was swept in by his two supierior's enthusiasm.

"Well then, I have one thing to say: LETS KICK SOME ASS!" Josef then pulled out his Katana's and quickly put them away as around 15 guards did so as well. "Well I want to kill something, you lot got anywhere I can do that?"

Xeir nodded. "Yes, the king's throat. Do we have anyone else willing to come? Syphril? Kyle?" The guards in the room lowered their guns, eyes still suspicious of Josef. His stupid move had nearly got him shot. A lot.
_________________________ Jean grabbed Max's arm. "You should go! I bet your really strong.." She said, practically begging Max.

Syphril stared into Xeir's eyes with his own, filled with a flaming ambition. He then nodded as if their eyes had done all the talking that needed to be done. "When shall we depart?", he asked, his voice heavy and monotonous. He began to emanate an aura of blood lust, hardly noticeable except by those with keen senses as he tried to control the sensation of excitement that death brought to Syphril.

Max scratched the back of his head, 'Does everyone here have a fucking death wish?' He asked himself. He then let out a sigh before turning to Xier, "Look, your plan is fucking stupid. Taking a batallion through the sewers? What makes you think they won't be guarded? If he's a king then he's gonna have some protection, lots of it, more men then we'll have for damn sure. We'd need a good plan, and that could take weeks, months, even years," Max then paused as he looked around, "Sorry, but I'm not about to throw my life away on someone else who's blinded by revenge. Hope the rest of you have enough sense to do the same."

Xeir's crazy-train of thought was broken off. Max had shattered it. Xeir gave him a look that one gives someone who has just said something completely odd.
"You.. I... wha..." Xeir had to shake himself.
"They wont be guarded, because the guards think its haunted. They lead directly under the kings chambers. There will be minimal guard resistance, if any. Also, the king's only protection is himself. I'd know, I've only known him sense his son was born. Also, If you think a battalion is some small force, you're wrong. I don't know you, but obviously you've never seen a Tanker-battalion in action. And unless you didn't know, we've been planning this for decades. It just so happens that tonight we actually have the gaul to do it!" Xeir was quite angry. The nanites beneith his skin were shifting uneasily.
"We will have glory, we will have justice..." Xeir trailed off.
Terra gave max a dull look. "And we will also have the royal treasurey, weapons room, and safety. Or are those not good enough reasons for you?"
Jean was looking at Max disapointedly. "Oh," She said "I guess you arn't as cool as I thought." She frowned, looked like she'd cry, and walked away.

Max stood there, in awe. He then started chuckling, and then harder, and harder, until it was full blown laughter. He laughed for a few minutes until he was finally able to recover, "Ok, let me get this straight. There's a sewer passage that leads directly to his quarters, and it's not guarded? C'mon, don't you think that's just a little too good to be true? And hell, even if he doesn't then he's probably powerful enough to back up everything he says. If he wasn't he'd be dead by now." Max said, completely ignoring Jean.

Xeir shook his head at this mans foolishness. "Its empty, because of all the traps. And the fact its filled with shit. The traps however, being mostly flame, have little effect on Hover-Tanks. Which is what we will be riding in."
Xeir stopped and thought. 'He doesnt know you, or what you're fighting against. Show him.'
"I'm going to show you the city." he said.

Syphril stood by as Max and Xeir went at each other. Max was apparently in great disbelief in the mission's success. However, Syphril regained confidence as he heard Xeir's justification for its success. The left side of his lips raised into a grin; almost a smirk. As the debate dragged on Syphril became more and more noticeably irked. Eventually he felt the need to butt in. "It appears you two are at an impasse. How shall we absolve this quarrel?", he asked? "He seems too simple to be a spy. Shall we let him go and be on our way?", he posed to Xeir.

Xeir gave Max the look one gives a lost puppy. "Very well. However, Im sure we can arrange your relea~" Xeir was cut off by a cadet walking into the room carrying two large dufflebags.
"General Terra?" he asked uncertainly. Terra nodded his permission to speak freely. "Well General," He began, "these odd crates were dropped off at our secret supply drop point. We arn't quite sure what they are...." He trailed off as he set one of the dufflebags on the counter, and unzipped it.
Every veteran's eyes, Terra, Ken, Xeir included, went wide with fear and horror.
In the bag was a Exodius class bomb. Just one would destroy a quarter of the Airmen base. It was armed.
Terra spoke up first, her voice shakey. "How many of these are there..?"
The cadet looked worried and confused. "About 40."
If fear was ice, everyone would have frozen over.
"EVACUATE!!!!" Terra and everyone started shouting. Jean hit the emergancy button under her desk, all the men started running to their assigned evac. points. It was chaos.
The bomb's timer showed about two minutes. So little time.
Xeir grabbed his group and pushed them back towards the elevator. With some reluctance, he grabbed Max too. Terra and Ken both followed suit.
The elevator was halfway to the surface when the first bomb went off.
BOOM-Vzzzrt....~ The elevator shook, and it felt like the planet itself was vibrating. Dust came in through the ceiling, but the elevator kept on going. "Oh gods, oh gods, oh gods..." Ken was muttering to himself frantically. Another bomb went off. BOOOOOOM-VZZZRTTT This one was even closer. Everything shook, the elevator rattled and they could here rocks and debrise pummel the retro-steel of the walls. It shook so hard everyone fell to the ground, even Xeir. Red lights flashed, smoke and dust filled the elevator, and there was no way out. They could only hope the next bomb didn't go off before they reached the surface. They could only hope. And then the doors of the elevator opened, and everyone fell over themselves to get out.
Just as the last one to get out, Syphril, took his foot away from the elevator another bomb went off, and the cable snapped. The elevator fell back down the shaft, and everyone heard a distant crunch a moment later.
Xeir let out a sigh, they were safe. But then Xeir saw Terra's eyes, filled with dismay. Xeir turned around to see a battalion of 'BlackJack's. The King's personal guard.
"Put your hands up, you stinking rebels!" One of them said. They all aimed powerful lazor rifles at them. Xeir looked down into the depths at the exploding base. They all heard distant screaming and massive explosions. He stood, and raised his arms in defeat. Terra and the rest did too.
Then, Xeir heard something else. Something coming from the sky. Xeir's nanite enhanced hearing helped him pinpoint it. He looked up at the incoming object. At this point, everyone else had heard it too, and looked. It came screaming out of the sky, and was headed right for the group of BlackJacks.
"OH SHI~" the leader said, before they were all crushed.
After the smoke and rubble cleared, the view of the ship, the spaceship, became apparent. It looks like a rubics cube mated with a missile, and had a large child that was rather confused as to what to do with its own growth patterns.
The door to the space ship opened, and a small, two foot tall figure stepped out. It had a hood, two batlike wings, a coat that covered most of its body, and a dark sythe across his back. It looked around at the scattered and crushed bodies of the BlackJacks.
"Whoops." Little Death said. He turned to the rather stunned group and waved. His little glowing white eyes gleamed joyfully at them. "Oh hi!" He called out.
As he spoke, a rather solem looking skull floated out of the ship as well. It hovered in the air, and was covered by a faint blue glow. It gave them all a look of indifference that only a skull can.
Little Death looked back at the skull. "What are you doing out here, Wilson? I thought I told you to stay at the controls!" Wilson shrugged. It was just then that everyone could see that the skull was supported by a nearly see-through either-real body. It was barely there at all, really.

Before Max could say anything, another hole in time opened up right behind him. A spear tipped rope shot through the end of the portal, slamming into Max's shoulder, and pulling him through, "Get over here!" A voice cryed through the portal. Fight noises were heard, before a deep voice announcer claimed, "FINISH HIM!" The sound of a man being torn in half was then heard before the voice spoke again, "Max wins, FATALITY!" The portal then closed.

Syphril was flabbergasted. Bombs in the base. Being surrounded by imperial troops. An indescribable ship landing on top of said troops. And now greeted by this miniature reaper. "I hope this is an ally, Xeir." were the only words he could muster as he gripped his glaive in the event things got messy.

Xeir nodded absentmindedly. "Uhh. Hi?" Xeir managed to blurt out. The sudden sight of Max simply porting out was rather confusing as well.... He could've used his support.
Little Death was busy bouncing around and generally making a fool of his tiny self. "Hmm? Oh, you wouldn't happen to have any ship parts around here would'ja?" Death said, turning back to the group. Xeir shook his head. He was completely confused, at this point. "We don't have spaceships on this planet..." He said after a moment. This made Death stand up straight. "No ships? Huh. This planet is so advanced, too! How odd. Well, if you wanna come along, we're on our way to another system a ways away. Might be fun to get off this uncivilized rock!" He said, jumping around.
Wilson floated, bored.
