"It was interesting." Critias said, leaning forward, he was fighting to keep his bloodlust under control. His eyes were flaring back and forth from red to gray. He wanted to fight but couldn't. "Although the man was too direct. After his first charge he should've realised a frontal assult would never work."

Miles suddenly heard a whisper in his head, it was calm, yet firm at the same time, 'You are the last of your kind noble warrior, and I know you would like to know more. Head to the Science Labs. Your destiny awaits.'

-Miles' head picked up to the odd sound, looking down a nearby hall in deep thought for a moment. *Who are you...?* He questioned, yet despite his suspicions began to make his way through the ship away from the crowd towards the science labs as the voice said. Normally Miles was far more cautious yet...he could not help but follow the voice.

Critias remembered what he was thinking about earlier, that was lost in the excitedment of the fight. "Does.... anyone know where I could find.. a teacher?" He said to the group. "Of magic, and control.... over myself. Even now I find myself wishing I was fighting as well, the bloodlust is overwhelming."

Gadrielle looked at Critias, "My big brother has a bit of experience with magic, maybe you can try asking him?"
Miles walked through the halls of the Olympus, not knowing where he was going, but the voice kept him in the right direction. As he walked through a door to one side he saw something incredible. A black pyramid that had dark blue lines running all through it, suspended in midair by some strange tractor beam like device, "Can I help you?" Miles heard a voice ask behind him. It was an older man that stood at around six foot even with short, neatly kept brown hair, and a clean shaven face. He pushed up on his glasses as his nametag on his white labcoat read, 'Admiral Noven.'

Critias looked at Gadrielle with interest. She was quite beautiful, but she was mortal. Thus he couldn't even think about making a move. He needed someone to spend eternity with, not the next 80 years or so.
"He could teach me control? None have you have seen me truely enraged. He'd need to be able to understand what happens each time I completely... transform. Could he handle that?"

-Miles let his eyes scanned over the device hovering before him, the low light of the beam that kept it suspended was nothing compared to the glow it gave off on its own, a light that felt...familiar to Miles, it drew him closer almost just by looking. The sleek black outline was contrasted that much more by the deep sapphire lines running through the device, pulsating almost...as if it was alive. Miles stared in awe, he wasn't sure why but everything in his body was screaming one word, a familiar yet distant one. Home.
Miles suddenly shifted to look at Admiral Noven, he had caught him off guard, not something that happens often, yet was still a bit taken aback by the device before he could speak again. "Ah...Admiral Noven is it sir?" He paused before nodding and continuing. "Forgive my intrusion...the...device here caught my attention." Miles chuckled softly. "Would you mind...telling me what it is?"

-Before the fight had begun, Fall surveyed everyone in their group approach and greet Gadrielle. 'Ah, so this is what is known as a....what do you call it, 'cockblock'? I must say it does seem rather rude.' Fall said, nodding. 'You have nooo idea.' Kazuma grumbled back at him. Then the fight happened. Even Fall stood there, his jaw dropped. He finally managed to regain his composure and crossed his arms. 'Ahem, yes, well, that was a very good fight.' Fall said, nodding vigorously. 'I think you mean 'badass'.' Kazuma smirked. 'I try to refrain from using such lewd comments, but yes, I suppose. It was pretty 'badass'.' Fall said, smirking as well. Kazuma turned to Gadrielle. "Yeah, that was really awesome. Wish I could have seen some of the earlier matches." Suddenly the adrenaline of watching the fight cut off and Kazuma realized who he was talking to. He wiped his palms on his shorts as nonchalantly as he could. Just as he was about to speak again, he noticed Miles drifting off. 'Where's he going off to?' He asked Fall. 'I'm not sure, but I do feel a strange presence touching him, as though it were calling out for him to find it. I do not believe it is hostile.' Fall said, a slightly worried look on his face. 'He'll be fine, we'll just have to wait for him to get back to ask him where he went.' Kazuma said, turning back to Gadrielle, but by then Critias had started talking to her. 'Seriously? Even the immortal guy's getting in the way?' Kazuma sighed. "Oh I didn't know that you could do magic. Ah, that's what you did during the fight." Kazuma said, snapping his fingers. "I was wondering what that was."
-Clep was enthralled with the match. He found himself miming actions, as though he were in the ring fighting the Thunderfist Captain. "Aw, now why'd you do that! Come on, toughen up! Beat his bitch ass down!!!" Were some of the many phrases he both learned and shouted during the match. The surge of energy and bloodlust that coursed through him after the battle forced him to have a seat and close his eyes. 'It is not wise to let one's own bloodlust overcome one's self.' A vision of Orpheus appeared when he closed his eyes. 'I know, but it's hard to control sometimes.' Clep growled back. 'I can help to ease some of the unnecessary burden, if you wish.' 'I would love any kind of help with this. It's been a plague of my race for generations.' Suddenly Clep felt a warmth spread throughout his body, easing the physical need for blood. Not taking it completely away, but dulling the raw need. He sighed in relief and stood back up. 'Thank you.' He whispered to Orpheus.

Noven turned to face the artifact as he began to speak, "We don't know. A Thunderfist squad brought it in a while back. They found it in some ruins on a nearby planet, why do you ask? You think you might know what it is?" Noven asked in a calm tone as he looked at Miles.
Gadrielle looked nervously at Critias, "A few years ago dad and James had a fight. Most people were banned from watching, myself and my mother included, and when James came out he was..." she stopped for a moment, "He was different. He acted and treated me the same, but he had a different air to him. When I finally asked him about it all he told me was that he couldn't remember the last five minutes of that fight," She then sighed before turning to Kazuma, "But on a brighter note, the earlier fights were awesome! I recorded them if you want to watch," she said with a warm friendly smile.

-Miles shifted his eyes to the device floating there, the urge like a deep bellow within himself. "Admiral...if I may... examine the device further?" He asked, seemingly ignoring his question, not out of rudeness but more like he didn't hear him. The bellowing was getting louder.

"Normally I'd say no, but I've heard about you," Noven said with a smile, "You're the one that was with James and his team, so I guess it can't hurt for you to look, but be careful," Noven said before activating a button on his Readius as the light suspending the pyramid was deactivated. It dropped to a platform, and looked as if it was waiting for Miles.
'Grab it,' the voice said to Miles, 'Send a surge of energy from your hands while you're holding the artifact, and you will be given a great power.'

Miles floated forward towards the device, thanking Noven with a silent nod, before reaching forward, wrapping his clawed hand around the pyramid like device. As he did, Miles could feel it nearly vibrate in his hand, the glow pulsating brighter, matching with his own glow and harmonizing. Miles stared in awe, unsure of what to think of the device, before he knew it he unleashed the small burst as the voice commanded, suddenly the pyramid exploded in a bright pillar of light, extending to the ceiling of the room, bright enough to envelop the entire room. Miles let out a cry of nearly agony, his mind, so many voices, thoughts, visions. It was as if he was feeling the thoughts of a thousand all crying out at once. As he gripped the device, Miles lifted a bit higher into the air, as the pyramid began to shift in his hand, as if a puzzle box. Then, as suddenly as it began it ended. The light vanished, as did the pyramid. Miles fell to his knees for a moment, looking at his clawed hand, it had singe marks, as if burned, before looking down suddenly he saw something on his chest. There, where normally was his engraved armor, was a new design, an empty looking carving into the armor, a small triangle at the top of the carving, the rest resembling a strange shape of some sort, several other places for more of these marks. The triangle twitches slightly glowing softly as the whispers hushed themselves in Miles' mind finally, and he looked up finally, dazed.

Noven rushed in by Miles' side, "Are you alright?! What happened?!" He asked with a bit of panic in his voice.

-Miles took a second to answer, his eyes for once closed as he saw...visions, more clear this time. A being, not different from himself, warping...from location to location. In one instance the man did so within a few feet in an instant, in another with a small delay, he warped much further... Miles wasn't sure what to make of this at first...but stood up nevertheless with Noven at his side, before drawing his blade suddenly, it glowed brighter it seemed... pulsating, as the bladed edge had gotta sharper, before suddenly letting it vanish again. "I am...well... better then well." He whispered, voice echoing sharply with a small chuckle. "Thank you Admiral though... I apologize for taking the artifact. It seems it was linked to me more then I thought." He mentioned, before motioning to the small symbol on his chest now.

-Kazuma's heart beat a little faster. "Sure, I'd love to see 'em!" Kazuma said, grinning, his palms becoming even sweatier. "So, are we gonna watch them here?" Kazuma said, praying that she didn't say yes.
