James nodded, "I don't mind if you look, but keep your hands to yourself. Or I'll chop your balls off," James said before turning to Paul, "Take these guys down to the armory, I'm gonna spend some time with Gaddy and mom."
Paul nodded as James headed through the door. He then turned to Kazuma, "Don't mind him, he's just a little overprotective. You get used to it," Paul said with a chuckle as he led the team to the armory.
The elevator doors opened as Paul saw a young woman gaining a Readius, and an older man wearing stealth armor leaning on the far right wall. Paul looked at the woman a bit before he recognized her, "Alleras?" He asked with a bit of shock in his voice.

-Alleras ignored Paul for the moment, gazing with bright azure eyes at the device in her hands. -"Well, if it is necessary..." She looked up at the man who had given her the Readius. "Do you think I could have another? I would be interested in seeing how they work, and I don't think taking this one apart is a good idea." -Then she seemed to hear Paul, on a small time delay. She turned her tall, slender frame around, and brushed her long dark braid of hair over her shoulder. -"Hello...Paul. Why so surprised?" She cocked her head to one side like an inquisitive bird as she slipped the Readius into a bag that hung from her shoulder. Then, with a silvery ripple over her skin, she WAS a bird. A large white, speckled falcon. Then the bird's feathers shivered silver again, and the human stood before them. She checked the Readius. -"Good, no problems. This technology seems to be less delicate than I thought. Now," her eyes swept over the newcomers, "who are these people?" She focused on Miles with intense interest.

Paul chuckled, "Allow me to introduce Clep, Kazuma, Iridis, Mitsuro, Sepp, Miles, and Valen. They're gonna be with me and James on the team, but why are you here exactly?" Paul asked as the man in the armor watched silently from the wall.

-Miles made his way into the armory with the others, curious tilting his head from Paul to the new presence in the room. "Alleras?" He asked almost, before nodding softly, his own version of a salute. "I recall hearing of you... the offspring of Admiral Luke von Dash yes?" He queried, stepping, rather floating, closer, offering one of his hands in a handshake to her. "I am Fervens miles militis, though many call me Miles as... he has exclaimed." Miles motioned to Paul for a moment with a sigh. "And just now... you.. are no human then? None that I have seen at least." He spoke evenly, curiously even. "I do not recall seeing that power anywhere...even from The Admiral himself....how then?" He asked

-Kazuma couldn't believe what he just saw. "Wha-?" was all he managed to say at first. After a little bit, he finally found his tongue. "Are you a shape-shifter?" Kazuma asked, a puzzled look in his eyes.
-Clep's eyebrows shot up, but he nodded to himself. 'If this girl does become part of the team, she shall be a valuable asset.' He thought. 'I agree.' Orpheus' booming voice answered. 'Oh, so I can talk to you anytime I want, eh?' 'Thou art correct.' 'Must you speak in such a cryptic-sounding voice?' 'Yes.' was his simple reply. Clep sighed and just shook his head.

-"My father thinks me joining you on this team and performing tasks with you will help me adjust. Plus, there's a whole universe out there, if you haven't noticed. I'd hate to die without seeing a lot more of it." Her eyes sparkled.
-"Fervens miles militis" She rolled the name over her tongue, her singsong voice making it seem like a prayer. "Admiral Luke is my father, yes. Though I have not known him overly long. I was raised by my mother on a planet called Dorne, home to we who take any shape that we care to learn. It is from Elia of Dorne that I have this skill." She stepped closer, looking from his three fingered hand to his glowing eyes. "If it is not impertinent of me to ask, Fervens miles militis, what are you? Not a human, for sure. You don't have much of a face...are you a ghost or spirit?" She blinked, and then smiled. "You're a noble one of whatever you are, for sure. Even the Commander doesn't have such a commanding voice!" She shook his hand with a smile.
-Then she turned her attention to Kazuma. "A shapeshifter, yes. Though we don't call it that where I come from." She offfered him her other hand and another warm smile.
-She noticed the nodding person, and nodded back. "Clep, yes? I assume that is not your entire name. You're Krynnian, I believe." It wasn't a question.

-Kazuma grasped her hand and shook it warmly. "It's a pleasure to meet you. So, will you be joining us?" He asked as he stepped back away from her.
-Clep was surprised. "You're correct. I am one of Krynn's finest warriors. My full name is Cleptsii Solamnia, though that is apparently too hard for most to pronounce." He said the last words with a bit of annoyance in them.

Miles chuckled softly at her charm, turning his eyes over her face again. "Indeed it is... a universe full of things to explore, a shame to waste ones life, as short as it may be for some cooped up in one place." He spoke happily now, he seemed to enjoy the way she said his name. "You are one of the few to use my real name so, if I may." He admitted. "Forgive any previous rudeness, I should be more use to explaining." He laughed a bit, echoing softly throughout the room. "I am a Spectral Warrior... my race that is." He chuckled a bit. "Ghost... perhaps that is the closest thing to it in your tongue." He nodded softly. "I do not mind curiosity, it is how one learns and it would be unwise to not inform others on myself and have them create rumors of their own. As for a face..." He paused for a moment before speaking again. "I have a form you may recognize...but in order to do so I would need to connect to your mind directly." He chuckled softly "And I do not believe such an experience is proper for simple greetings." He mentioned, before nodding again. "Though kind words from an honorable one such as you is rather appreciated." He chuckled again at her mention of his voice, echoing across the room again softly, streams of bluish 'tails' from his back danced lightly over the room.

-She smiled at the Spectral Warrior. "Fervens miles militis, I should not like to call you by anything other than your name. Especially when it seems to irk you somewhat. Well, you are a wonderful being, yes. I like the way you view the world...s. The stars are the playground for the curious, my uncle says, and he's right. I should like to learn more of your kind, if you wouldn't mind sharing in the future, when we know each other better, and we've no doubt gotten into some dangerous adventures." She let go of his hand, and dipped her head again to one side. "Assuming that isn't rude, of course. My mind often gallops over social boundaries. A result of my world, I'm afraid."
-"I shall be joining you. Whether I want to or not...I'm rather undecided. I do like to travel, but this is all still rather new to me. We're fast learners on Dorne, though."
-She studied the Krynnian's mouth, and considered his speech in her mind for a moment. Then; "Cleptsii Solamnia," she declared flawlessly, with a hint of her Dornish accent, "it is a pleasure to be joining one of Krynn's finest warriors. I hope you don't mind me asking you of your homeland when we're better acquainted? I've an inquisitive mind."
-She eyed the others interestedly, but she didn't want to speak until they did.

"Could you quit yapping and take the damn things so I can go watch the fight?!" The man behind the counter said, highly annoyed at the situation.
Paul chuckled, "They're just having some small talk partner. Ease up."
The man glared at Paul as he handed each team member their Readius'. Just then the man who had been quietly waiting walked to Valen, "You're coming with me," he said. Valen quickly obeyed. He followed the man out of the room and into the elevator. There they went to who knows where.

-Miles could not help but smile to the woman a bit, rather under his mask he did before speaking again. "It does not truly bother me, but I have come to appreciate those that take the time to use my full name, though surely it would tire out your tongue." He laughed softly now. "I am quite happy to see such a young being with such open views on the universe." As he said so, he paused at her request and laughed once more, louder this time, before shaking his head "No not rude rather, personal, similar to what you humans would consider a deep show of trust." He chuckled a bit. "Though, perhaps so... I already rather enjoy your company." He taunted a bit in his own way. Upon hearing the news he tilted his head to the side. "Wait a moment... you are to join us?" He seemed rather baffled. "You are also a warrior then?" He asked now.

-She laughed, eyes bright. "Well, we're off to a good start, Fervens miles militis. We'll be friends in no time." She considered his question, then shrugged. "It depends entirely on how one would define a warrior. I do not live for fighting, nor war, nor even the outcomes that battle may produce. The shapes I dance into, the blessings each shape gives my natural body, the spear fighting my uncle taught me...all enable me to kill, and kill well. It is simply something I can do, rather than something I dedicate myself to. So, if you would consider me a warrior, then I guess I am. I would name myself scholar, and explorer, and I would be proud of both. I suspect, also, that both will be of value to whatever missions we embark upon."

-Miles laughed again to what she described, having one of his hands slowly in front of him before speaking. "No no, that is not what a true warrior is Alleras von Dash, a true warrior fights with honor, for those that can not fight for themselves, and helps pass on their skill to the next generation so their knowledge is not lost." He paused for a moment before chuckling a bit. "A warrior is one that takes pride in their strength, one to encourage the growth of others and inspire generations to come!" He spoke proudly now, almost lost in his own speech, his voice booming loud before he paused again and sighed. "No I would not consider a being of war and death a warrior, that is our curse in defending those in need, and though you never forget your foes, you never falter in the face of your foes." As he finished his speech, Miles grew quiet for a moment before laughing a bit. "Not everyone is suited to such a job... only time will tell if you do." He mentioned to her, his tone friendly, almost optimistic.

-She was astonished by his conviction and passion as he spoke of the creed of a true warrior. "I didn't think of it that way...we seldom have wars on Dorne, and there is never really a need to defend the weak. We all look out for each other. Though, my uncle Oberyn speaks often of his spear fighting as an art, knowledge of equal value to the great mysteries of the universe, that must be perfected and preserved. And we have honour, though I couldn't easily describe it to an off-worlder. You should come to Dorne, if you can, and see for yourself. As for me, I know of the poor and the outcasts, and my heart demands I help them. If that includes protecting them with a blade, so be it. I don't know if I am suited to be a warrior. My mind is my blade, and books are my whetstones." She fell silent for a moment, then added quietly, "It is not 'von Dash', ser. Simply Alleras, or 'the Sphinx' to some. If I have a secondary name, such as humans like, then it would be Martell, the name of my clan."

Miles chuckled a bit, nodding in agreement with her. "Perhaps you are correct, I would like to explore this place you speak of, you seem rather fond of it and the people too." He admitted. "Keeping ones mind sharp is important I will not deny..." He smiled softly under his mask before turning to her curiously. "Alleras then..." He examined her still.
