Well, I'm pretty much a retard when it comes to art, but the forks and spoon photo caught my attention. Racism could be one way to look at it, or could just be prejudice in general. The way I see it, the silver, contorted spoons represent the world, or maybe the evil or injustice in the world, and the golden spoon represents the justice, purity or maybe innocence of the world, being repressed. The way the forks bend, and the long jagged teeth kind of gives off a 'sinister' or 'warped' vibe. The shadows of the forks also give off this impression. It almost looks as if the forks are preying on the spoon. The way the spoon bends could be a way to protray how the spirit of the pure and innocent is broken and the grey blotches on the spoon (as it appears to be painted gold) could be depicting the wearing away of that purity or righteousness. The grey blotches on the spoon are more noticable as it's on a golden spoon, which easily contrast one another, and could indicate the spoon becoming the same color as the forks, metaphorically conveying how one, originally pure, living in iniquity or surrounded by it will eventually become tainted itself by said iniquity. Well, those were my thoughts. I love to over-analyze things so I'm sure I got it wrong Either way, these photos are well done Finny.
