I remember when i watched that. I watched the first episode and was like "why the hell am i still watching this" near the end. but then i ended up watching the entire series, mindlessly clicking the next episode. And i agree with paradox tentacles might have made the unrelenting horribleness of the series less noticeable. then we would just be thinking about what is a tentacle creature doing here and what is it doing to that girl... or maybe something else if your into that.

Actually, Chobits was my first anime when I was about 12, surprising I wasn't put off anime after that, it was like swallowing a bag of sugar.
